Blotter Report – Week of October 16 – October 22, 2026
Between Oct. 7 and the early hours of Oct. 14, the New York State Police recorded 268 incidents in Saratoga County that didn’t result in arrest in their daily blotter report.
The top three municipalities for incidents were:
1. Clifton Park- 81
2. Wilton- 36
3. Malta- 33
The top three incident types reported by the State Police were:
1. Accident- property damage- 49
2. Tie: disable vehicle and property check- 20
3. Assist other agency- 19.
In total State Police identified 84 individuals as being involved in accidents in their daily blotter, the median age of which was 39. In terms of arrests, State Police arrested 17 individuals on 27 charges. The most common charge was DWI- first offense with five offenses recorded.
October 7, 2026. 1:48 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Northville resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor aggravated harassment- threaten by telephone/ no legitimate purpose. Central arraignment. Original incident reported on Oct. 3 in the Town of Milton.
October 8, 2026. 3:20 p.m.- New York State Police arrested an Amsterdam resident in the Town of Wilton on charges of misdemeanor failure to pay service based on stealth. Appearance ticket issued.
October 9, 2026. 3:30 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Hadley resident in the Town of Hadley on charges of felony criminal contempt- prior conviction within five years, felony aggravated family offense- more than one offense within five years, and misdemeanor act in a manner to injure a child less than 17. Held- no bail.
October 9, 2026. 11:57 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Hudson Falls resident in the Town of Moreau on charges of DWI- first offense and misdemeanor operate a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher – first offense. Appearance ticket issued.
October 10, 2026. 5:14 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident in the Town of Malta on charges of DWI- first offense and misdemeanor operate a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher – first offense. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident was reported as a personal injury accident in the Town of Stillwater on Aug. 30.
October 11, 2026. 10:58 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Halfmoon resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Appearance ticket issued.
October 12, 2026. 2:50 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Schenectady resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image and misdemeanor unlawful dissemination of a personal image- create image. Central arraignment. Original incident reported on Oct. 8.
October 12, 2026. 9:44 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident in the Town of Milton on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense, misdemeanor operate a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense and felony aggravated DWI: with a child-passenger less than 16- first offense. Central arraignment.
