Malta-Stillwater EMS Open House

Malta-Stillwater EMS will be hosting two open house events; Sunday, May 18 12-5 PM at the Malta station and Tuesday, May 20 4-7 PM at the Stillwater Public Safety Building. 

The Malta Station is located at 2449 State Route 9, Malta, NY 12020. The Stillwater Public Safety Building is located at 266 County Route 76, Stillwater, NY 12170.

The Open Houses will include staff members showing lifesaving skills and equipment, Narcan training, as well as answering general guests’ questions about EMS. How to become a First Responder: Sign up to take a CPR course. Hot dog station, snacks, beverages, balloons, and various kid take-away items also included.

The Heritage Garden Club of Saratoga Springs received the first place award for its work in the community with garden therapy, civic concerns and improvement, world gardening contributions, and its yearbook. The award was presented by the Federated Garden Club of New York State, District IV at the meeting and luncheon held May 5, 2025 at the Holiday Inn, Saratoga Springs.. Barbara Thomas, president of the Heritage Garden Club was given the award for the club by Charlanne McDonough District Awards Chairperson.

The luncheon meeting was attended by members of the seven clubs within the District.

Saratoga Showcase of Homes Tour Planned for Two Weekends This Fall

Saratoga Springs ­— The 2025 Saratoga Showcase of Homes Committee is proud to announce this year’s dates and list of builders as of this date. Celebrating 29 years of exceptional homes, this annual tradition will be presented over four beautiful fall days on October 4-5 and October 11-12. We will have a spectacular line-up from our region’s finest builders for the area’s premiere new home tour event.

47th Outdoor Market Season Begins


The Saratoga Farmers’ Market is proud to kick off its 47th Outdoor Season in Saratoga Springs at High Rock Park on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  From fresh produce and plants to artisan goods and delicious treats — it’s all here, and it’s all local.

Glens Falls Wing Fest in Downtown Glens Falls Saturday


Wing Fest takes place on Saturday. 

GLENS FALLS — The Glens Falls Collaborative presents the annual Glens Falls Wing Fest & More, from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.

The popular community event invites visitors to sample a variety of wings —from classic favorites to inventive new flavors, including vegan option – throughout downtown Glens Falls. Each vendor will offer samples for purchase at their own booth, so attendees can pay as they go.

Guests can vote for their favorite wings, while a panel of local judges will award titles for Best Wings, Best Visitor, Best Rookie, and Best Meatless Entrée. The awards will be announced on Glen Street at 3:15 p.m.

The 4th Annual Mike DuBray Inferno Wing Eating Contest will take place on Glen Street at 1 p.m.

Saratoga Automobile Museum Unveils “Speed – Style – Legacy: The Corvette Story” in May

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Saratoga Automobile Museum is thrilled to present their newest exhibition, Speed – Style – Legacy: The Corvette Story, starting on May 5. 

The new exhibit takes visitors on a journey through the history of one of the world’s most legendary sports cars, the Chevrolet Corvette. From 1953, when the first Vette rolled off the assembly line, to its current status as a high-performance icon, the exhibition offers an immersive look at the Corvette’s incredible evolution and its unparalleled motorsport legacy.

Spanning over eight decades of production, the exhibit will showcase a carefully curated selection of Corvettes, as well as highlight Corvette’s impressive racing heritage, showcasing famous race cars that have become legends in their own right. 

Speed – Style – Legacy: The Corvette Story will feature six vehicles on loan from the famed GM Heritage Collection. The cars, which represent some of the most iconic models in Corvette history, will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for visitors to see and experience some of the rarest and most historically significant Corvettes ever built. 

The exhibition is open to the public starting Monday, May 5 and will run through October 2025.

Yee-Haw! Saratoga School District Bike Rodeo Returns

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Saratoga Springs City School District’s annual Bike Rodeo event will return on Thursday, May 8 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Kids are encouraged to bring their bicycles to the East Side Recreation Field’s track and in-field off of Caroline Street for an obstacle course, minor bike maintenance, safety course, helmet fitting station, games, and a relay race contest. 

All kids participating in the event can fill out a raffle ticket for a chance to win a new bike from Trek Saratoga Bicycles. Free hot dogs and hamburgers will also be provided by the Saratoga Springs Police Department.

The event precedes Bike-to-School Day on May 16. 

Geyser Creek Fish Stocking April 16


On Wednesday, April 16, bring the whole family to Geyser Creek Picnic Area for the free fish stocking event. In addition to the live trout release there will be demonstrations, activities and crafts. The truck is scheduled to arrive at 11:30 a.m. Call or text (518) 810-6906 for more information.
