Meet Emma!

Emma is a gorgeous tabby cat who came to HOPE with her housemate Matthew. Although they have lived together for years, they never bonded and she is a bit of a bully to sweet Matthew. They lost their mom a few years ago and were living with a family member who tried desperately to integrate them into her household with other cats and dogs. Unfortunately, it did not work out, and both cats were not thriving in the home. The difficult decision was made to rehome them. Emma would prefer to be the only pet in the home where she will get all of the attention. She is such a nice kitty, is very confident and just needs to find a lap and home where she will be spoiled for the rest of her life. Her markings are beautiful and she instantly purrs when visitors come to sit with her. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and ready for her forever home!

The HOPE Pet Adoption Center is open to the public Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 11-4 or by appointment. Online adoption applications may be found on our website www.hopeanimalrescue.org. For any questions give us a call at 518-450-7013.

Meet Mookie!

Breed: Pug/Beagle Mix (Puggle)

Age: 7

Sex: Male

Size: 21 lbs

Personality Traits: House-trained, crate trained, playful, cuddly, loyal, smart

Mookie is a one-of-a-kind little guy with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He loves nothing more than snuggling under the blankets, giving lots of kisses, and being close to his person. He’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and flexible — just as happy lounging on the couch as he is heading out for a long walk or a game of fetch. Mookie is smart, food-motivated, and knows his basic commands. He rides great in the car (it’s his favorite place!) and is easy to entertain with toys, especially a good game of fetch or a stuffed Kong. Mookie would do best in a specific type of home where he can truly thrive:

• Adult-only home (no children)

• Best as an only pet

• A home committed to structure, routine, and continued support

Meet Juniper!

Juniper is a petite kitty who is a little over a year and half old. Her family made the very difficult decision to surrender her after realizing they could not properly provide for her while going through a difficult time. She may need some time to acclimate to new surroundings, but she is very sweet and receptive to pets and attention. She was recently spayed, is up to date on her rabies vaccine and has had her first distemper vaccination. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Juniper is ready to find a loving home with people who will provide her with the care and affection she deserves.

The HOPE Pet Adoption Center is open to the public Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 11-4 and by appointment. Online adoption applications can be found at our website www.hopeanimalrescue.org. For any questions give us a call at 518-450-7013.

Meet Rosie!

Rosie was found wandering around a neighborhood with her 12 week old kitten close behind. Concerned neighbors were able to determine that they were not feral and brought them inside and out of the cold March weather. The kitten was able to find a loving home and mom came to us where she was promptly brought to the veterinarian’s office and received her rabies and first distemper vaccination. She is extremely sweet and absolutely gorgeous and was able to spend some time in a foster home. She is back at the center and loves chatting with us and getting as many pets as possible. She will be spayed, microchipped and reassessed by the veterinarian soon and will be available for adoption once she is fully healed.

The HOPE Pet Adoption Center is open to the public Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 11-4 or by appointment. Online adoption applications can be at our website www.hopeanimalrescue.org. For any questions give us a call at 518-450-7013.

Meet Sandy!

Your Low-Key, Loyal Companion

Age: 2 years

Breed: Mixed (Puerto Rico rescue)

Size: Tall, lean, and handsome at ~50 lbs

Health: On anxiety medication

Housing restrictions – needs to be one and only pet

About Me:

Hey there — I’m Sandy. I’m a laid-back guy just looking for my person to do life with. My ideal day? Soaking up some sun, going for a nice easy stroll, maybe playing a little in the yard, and then curling up next to you to relax. I’m not high-maintenance — I just want good company and a calm place to call home.

My Perfect Match:

Someone who enjoys a quieter, more routine lifestyle. I thrive with calm energy — whether you’re male or female, I’m just looking for kindness and consistency. A fenced yard would be amazing, but not required if you enjoy getting outside together.
