Learning To Phish: A Review of the Madness

SARATOGA SPRINGS – When Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) announced that the seminal jam band Phish would be playing a weekend-long set this summer, I shrugged it off. After all, Phish has been a constant presence in my life since high school. I didn’t care about it then, why should I now? An update to an earlier story: Hattie's Chicken Shack has announced via their Facebook page that they will infact be involved with the 2012 season at Saratoga Race Course. The restaurant says they will be working with NYRA to make sure their customers know where they can find the Track Shack this year. They thanked NYRA for their "continued support of the local restaurant community."

SARATOGA SPRINGS – As the clock ticks down to the start of the 2012 season at Saratoga Race Course, one of the city’s most popular restaurants says they likely won’t be returning to the track, stating that a last-minute location change has forced them to reconsider their involvement.

Presented by Saratoga Springboard to kick off the Spirit of Life & Spencer Trask Memorial Restoration Campaign, the benefit drew a crowd of more than 300 attendees and featured the work of over 70 juried artists.
