Kenneth J. Davis

ARGYLE – Kenneth J. Davis, 74, a resident of Argyle, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. Born December 28, 1941 in Schuylerville, he was the son of the late Delbert and Lydia Ellis Davis. Mr. Davis retired in 2004 from the Washington County Highway Department. He enjoyed working on cars and small engines, and he valued time spent with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Donald “Buck” Davis and Rae Dean “Pete” Davis, and his sister, Doris “Topsy” Billings. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Blanchard of Fort Miller, and Karen (Pete) Porter of Greenwich; his son, Paul (Stacy) Davis of Argyle; his sister, Betty Larmon of Schuylerville; six grandchildren, Amy and Rachel Blanchard, Pete, Joe, and Kenny Porter, and Brieanda Davis; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Schuylerville. Memorials can be made in his memory to your local SPCA. The family would like to extend a thank you to the doctors and nurses at Glens Falls Hospital for the wonderful care they gave to Ken during his stay at the hospital.
