Northeastern New York Surgical Center Opens in Saratoga Regional Health Center

After more than a decade in Wilton, Northeastern New York Surgical Center, the surgical home of EyesNY, has moved to the new Saratoga Regional Health Center at 612 Maple Avenue. Patients can go from a routine eye exam to surgery at a center named a 2026 Best Ambulatory Surgery Center by U.S. News & World Report, all under one roof.

The state-of-the-art facility includes advanced ophthalmic and plastic surgery equipment, along with modern sterile processing to support all five operating rooms. Alongside the eye surgery, the center is nationally recognized for cataract surgery with lens implants, glaucoma treatment, retinal procedures and laser procedures.

Gregory Pinto, MD, Vice President of EyesNY, said the move matters most for patients: “A lot of my cataract patients first notice something is off when their glasses just stop doing the job. Having the full spectrum of care in one building, from the exam to the specialist to the surgery, means fewer handoffs and a familiar place from first appointment to follow-up.”

The center will also offer plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyes and face, breast augmentation, and body contouring such as liposuction and abdominoplasty.

“Since 2013, our surgeons and staff have built a highly respected surgical center on North Road, and the U.S. News rating reflects that dedication,” said Matt Cross, CEO of Northeastern New York Surgical Center. “This move is about building on that. With larger operating rooms, new equipment and expanded services, we can give our patients a better experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they head home.”

EyesNY is the largest independent, physician-owned ophthalmology group in the Capital Region. When an EyesNY patient needs surgery, it’s performed at Northeastern New York Surgical Center, often with the same doctor who made the diagnosis.

The $70 million, 125,000-square-foot Saratoga Regional Health Center which opened in July of this year also accommodates OrthoNY, Albany ENT & Allergy Services, Saratoga Schenectady Gastroenterology Associates, and a St. Peter’s Hospital cardiology center.
