November 13 – November 19, 2021

COURT 

Deborah M. Willson AKA Deborah M. Drumm, 43, of Schuylerville, was sentenced Nov. 5 to 5-1/2 years incarceration with 1 year post-release supervision, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree. 

Joseph Manasseri, 34, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Nov. 3 to rape in the second-degree, in Milton, and possessing a sexual performance by a child. Sentencing Jan. 14. 

Krista S. Jenkins, 26, of Corinth, was sentenced Nov. 3 to 1 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to third degree grand larceny. 

POLICE

Christopher A. Sears, 35, of Ballston Spa, was charged Nov. 3 with sexual abuse in the first-degree, in connection with an alleged incident that occurred in the town of Milton during the summertime of 2018. 

Rolland G. Gibbs, 62, of Northumberland, was charged with reckless endangerment in the first-degree – a felony, and assault in the third-degree, a misdemeanor. The Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a vehicle on NYS Route 29 in the area of Homestead Road in the Town of Saratoga. Gibbs is accused of shooting a vehicle that had been traveling westbound on Route 29 causing non-life-threatening injuries to the two occupants. He had reportedly been attempting to illegally harvest a deer at the time when he allegedly fired north across the two-lane highway striking the vehicle from his location on the shoulder of Route 29. The occupants of the vehicle were treated for their injuries at Saratoga Hospital and released. Gibbs was also cited for numerous Environmental Conservation Law violations.

Michael McKay, 26, of Eagle Bridge, was charged in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Samuel King, 22, of Fort Edward, was charged in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and operating an unregistered vehicle. 

Devontae Batson, 28, of Albany, was charged in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and vehicle registration suspended. 

Mackenzie Otero, 21, of Greenwich, was charged in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, motor vehicle suspended. 

Daniel Jennings, 30, of Halfmoon, was charged in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Jenel Byrd, 37, of the Bronx, was charged in Saratoga Springs with criminal impersonation, criminal trespass, and forgery. The latter charge is a felony. 

Chad Laplante, 39, of Ballston Spa, was charged in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and circumvent interlock.

Mark Stackrow, 24, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding.

Kayla Harris, 22, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with assault in the third-degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Michael Redd, 19, of Malta, was charged in Saratoga Springs with obstruct governmental official. 

Nathan Lynn, 27, of Middle Grove, was charged in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI and aggravated DWI. 

Benjamin Wyatt, 46, of Malta, was arrested on a warrant in connection with the alleged issuance of a bad check.

Roger Sharp, 46, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with felony assault, and felony criminal possession of a weapon. 

Nicholas Cabral-Stuckless, 23, of Orangeville, was charged in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely, and driving a motor vehicle on/across a sidewalk. 

Michael McLeary, 34, of Cohoes, was charged in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI. 

Norman Rose, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with misdemeanor DWI, refusal to take a breath test, moving from lane unsafely and the felonies: aggravated unlicensed operation; grand larceny; criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated family offense, and aggravated criminal contempt. 

Anthony Dellabella, 41, of Queensbury, was charged in Saratoga Springs with obstruct governmental official.

Tyler Bellinger, 27, of Richmondville, was charged in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor assault. 

Keith Lansley, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with felony criminal mischief, misdemeanor criminal mischief, and acting in a manner that would injure a child. 

David Posson, 33, of Glenville, was charged in Saratoga Springs with criminal mischief, and stalking. 

Richawn L. McClain, 22, of Troy, was charged in connection with numerous domestic incident complaints in Clifton Park. Charges include: strangulation, aggravated criminal contempt, assault, intimidating a witness – felony, tampering with a witness, tampering with physical evidence, criminal contempt felony, and several misdemeanor charges. 

Christopher Leblanc, 28, of Milton, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm – a felony, following a joint investigation conducted by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit and the Rotterdam Police Department Detective Division. Leblanc is accused of menacing a person with a handgun in the town of Rotterdam, having fled the scene and later located at his residence in the town of Milton. A .9mm handgun allegedly used during the menacing incident was located inside Leblanc’s home and it was determined he failed to possess the proper permit for the weapon, according
to police.

COURT 

An attorney from Wilton admitted that she stole funds belonging to an elderly client and the client’s estate over a six-year-period. The attorney, Ellen K. Zwijacz, entered a plea of guilty in Saratoga County Court Nov. 1 to charges of grand larceny in the second-degree. Zwijacz prepared and presented purported trust documents to open accounts and transferred funds out of the client’s control without their knowledge, according to Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen. Zwijacz additionally submitted fraudulent documents to an insurance company to change address and beneficiary information on life insurance policies, and concealed the larceny by filing inaccurate documents as the attorney for the victim’s estate. She is required to pay more than $860,000 in restitution to the victim prior to the Jan. 5, 2022 sentencing. Zwijacz’s plea subjects her to a sentencing range from local incarceration and probation, to up to 1 to 3 years in state prison. She posted $5,000 cash bail and “will remain at liberty until her sentencing,” according to Heggen. 

John S. Becker, 48, of Schenectady, pleaded Nov. 1 to bail jumping in the second-degree, a felony. Sentencing Dec. 20. 

Matthew S. Lawrence, 24, of Corinth, pleaded Nov. 1 to misdemeanor DWI, and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Sentencing Jan. 7, 2022. 

Amanda L. Martin, 34, of Halfmoon, pleaded Nov. 1 to felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Sentencing Dec. 6. 

Jeffrey M. Rubertone, 49, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Oct. 29 to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to felony DWI. 

Ryan K. Score, 32, of Wilton, was sentenced Oct. 29 to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to felony DWI. 

Jake J. Hodgdon, 30, of Swanton, NY, was sentenced to 1.5 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to felony criminal mischief, in connection with an incident in Malta. 

Joshua A. Ferrucci, 29, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Oct. 29 to 1 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to felony burglary, in Wilton. 

Ashley Sweeney, 38, of Mechanicville, was sentenced to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony burglary, in Halfmoon.

Brandon Simpson, 40, of Albany, was charged Oct. 23 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, failure to keep right, no seat belt. 

Laura Cheney, 35, of Corinth, was charged Oct. 23 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, unregistered vehicle, registration suspended, moved from lane unsafely. 

Kamdyn Bishop, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 23 with felony DWI – previous conviction within 10 years, aggravated unlicensed operation, refusal to take breath test, reckless driving, failure to obey police officer, assault, vehicle equipment violation.

Charles Pace, 33, of Queensbury, was charged Oct. 24 in Saratoga Springs with criminal contempt misdemeanor. 

Noah Williams, 25, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 24 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, and misdemeanor aggravated DWI. 

Ashley McQueen, 27, of Troy, was charged Oct. 24 in Saratoga Springs with   misdemeanor DW, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, leaving scene of a property damage accident. 

Richard Davenport, 48, of Albany, was charged Oct. 23 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation, no vehicle license, passed a red light. 

Catherine Marsh, 23, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 21 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, speeding, failing to use designated lane, and making an unsafe turn.

Miranda Sanders, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 21 with misdemeanor petit larceny. 

Randy Jones, 54, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 21 with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. 

Christopher Weber, 36, of Rotterdam Junction, was charged Oct. 22 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor harassment. 

Luke Malamood, 36, of Albany, was charged Oct. 21 in Saratoga Springs with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, operating vehicle while using a portable electronic device, speeding, passing a red light, moving from lane unsafely, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

October 30 – November 5, 2021

COURT

Kurtis Patterson, 22, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Oct. 27 to 11 years incarceration and 20 years post-release supervision, after pleading to rape in the first-degree, in connection with charged dating to March 12, 2021 in Saratoga Springs. 

Zachary Q. Burger, 33, of Ellenburg, N.Y., was sentenced Oct. 27 to 4 years incarceration and 3 years post-release supervision, after pleading to felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, in connection with March 6, 2020 charges in Saratoga Springs. 

Robert S. Hedrick, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to 1-1/2 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to felony criminal contempt, in connection with Feb. 17, 2021 charges in Saratoga Springs. 

Christopher D. Barnes, 41, of Wilton, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years incarceration, after pleading to misdemeanor DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, first charged April 27, 2021 in Saratoga Springs, and 1-1/2 to 3 years incarceration on felony criminal contempt and felony aggravated family offense charges in May and June 2021.   

Charles Garcia, 51, of Schenectady, was sentenced to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, in Wilton. 

David W. Lunt, 20, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced Oct. 27 to 10 years incarceration, after pleading to attempted rape in the first-degree, in connection with December 2018 charges in Moreau, and 2 to 6 years incarceration in connection with June 2020 charges. 

POLICE

Justice D. Locke, 19, of Indian Lake, was charged Oct. 28 with attempted murder in the second-degree, and burglary in the first-degree. The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred in the Village of Corinth. Locke is accused forcibly entering the apartment of an acquaintance and attacking him with a tomahawk. The victim was airlifted to Albany Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Locke was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility without bail and is due back in the Corinth Town Court at a later date. 

Robin A. Iacobelli, 58, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 26 with grand larceny in the third-degree. Following a two-year joint investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office and the New York State Police Financial Crimes Unit, Iacobelli was charged in connection with the theft of $36,036.29 from Kee To Independent Growth, a not-for-profit organization in the Town of Ballston, that occurred between 2016 and 2019, according to authorities. 

Cajun Decker, 20, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 18 with two felony counts robbery.

Shawn Davis, 36, of Rensselaer, was charged Oct. 19 in Saratoga Springs with the misdemeanors: Possession of burglar tools, criminal mischief, petit larceny, operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1% alcohol of more in blood, aggravated unlicensed operation, reckless driving; failure to obey police officer, following vehicle too closely, speed not reasonable and prudent, passing a red light, failing to stop at a stop sign, improperly licensed vehicle, and criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

Carianne Manning, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 15 with misdemeanor DWI, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, making an improper turn, and driving on the sidewalk, after being involved in a property damage accident on Church Street. 

Alexandra Broadway, 25, of South Glens Falls, was charged Oct. 15 in Saratoga Springs with harassment, resisting arrest, and obstruct governmental official. 

Jarod Fields, 29, of Lake George, was charged Oct. 16 in Saratoga Springs with felony DWI as a second offense within 10 years, refusal to take a breath test, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, after being involved in a property damage accident on North Street. 

Marcus Vandeusen, 19, of Glenville, was charged Oct. 16 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor assault, and misdemeanor making graffiti.   

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office received 911 calls for a plane crash in the Town of Milton. The plane, a 1963 Beachcraft occupied by Justin L. Platt, 30, of Ballston, and Jesse R. Richardson, 35, of Fultonville, was returning to the Saratoga County Airport when it reportedly lost power and was brought down in a field west of the airport. The occupants were uninjured, and no one was injured on the ground, according to a statement issued by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Swade E. Shattuck, 43, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Oct. 22 to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to criminal contempt in the second-degree, a misdemeanor, concurrent with a 6-month-sentence on the misdemeanor charges of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and DWI in Saratoga Springs.   

Kyle D. Baker, 47, of Warrensburg, pleaded Oct. 22 to felony attempted criminal mischief, in connection with charges in the town of Day, in May 2020. Sentencing Jan. 20, 2022. 

Scott M. Derocher, 48, of Clifton Park, was sentenced Oct. 22 to 2-1/3 to 7 years’ incarceration, after pleading to felony burglary, in Clifton Park. 

Ronald A. Singh, 39, of Schenectady, was sentenced Oct. 22 to 2-1/2 to 5 years after pleading to felony reckless endangerment, and 1-1/2 to 4-1/2 years after pleading to felony DWAI. Sentences to run concurrently. 

Kimberly J. Bertrand, 24, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Oct. 22 to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to felony DWI, in Saratoga Springs. 

Paul F. Haggerty, 40, of Northumberland, was sentenced Oct. 22 to 1 year incarceration, after pleading to felony reckless endangerment, in Greenfield. 

Jesse A. Kelton, 46, of Pittsburg, California, was sentenced to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Malta.

David E. Greenwood, 51, of Mechanicville, was sentenced to 1 to 3 years after pleading to felony criminal contempt in Stillwater, and 1 to 3 years after pleading to felony burglary in Halfmoon. Sentences to run concurrently. 

POLICE

Jaimee K. Ryf, 40, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 24, with felony assault, following an alleged altercation in the town of Halfmoon during which Ryf is accused of striking a man known to her in the head with a coffee mug, resulting in physical injury, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. 

Joshua W. Pozefsky, 24, of Middle Grove, was charged Oct. 24 with assault and burglary – both felonies, and criminal mischief - a misdemeanor, after allegedly entering and remaining unlawfully in a Porter Corners dwelling “with intent to commit a crime therein,” according to a statement from the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. He is additionally accused of striking a female acquaintance to the side of her head with a pistol and throwing her cell phone out of the window of a moving taxicab. The Sheriff’s Office responded to the Saratoga Springs Police Department for a domestic incident complaint regarding the event. 

Jeffrey R, Stone, 54, of Gansevoort, was charged Oct. 24 with failing to register as a sex offender, a felony. 

Kevin J. Dahl, 26, of Clifton Park, was charged Oct. 16 with felony assault, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and violation of probation. Dahl is accused of causing physical injury to a deputy sheriff who was attempting to take him into custody on a warrant at the Saratoga County Public Safety building. Dahl allegedly fled the scene on foot, resulting in two schools being placed on lockout earlier this month, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. 

Marian McCaskill, 48, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 11 with misdemeanor DWI. 

Chad Long, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 11 with two misdemeanor counts criminal trespass. 

Kahdejah Johnson, 31, of Albany, was charged Oct. 10 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. 

Patricia Hunter, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 13 with assault, and two misdemeanor counts menacing. 

Bryan Stickles, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 13 with criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child – both misdemeanors, and strangulation – a felony. 

Jan Millington, 52, of Saratoga, was charged Oct. 13 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, after being involved in a property damage accident. 

Timothy Metcalfe, 21, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 8 with felony menacing, and acting in a manner that would injure a child, a misdemeanor. 

Johnathan Brown, 23, of Duanesburg, was charged Oct. 9 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, speeding, vehicle equipment violation, and felony aggravated unlicensed operation. 

Neil Lescault, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 10 with misdemeanor criminal trespass. 

Mona Nordstrom, 52, of Mechanicville, was charged Oct. 10 in Saratoga Springs with the felonies: assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing – a misdemeanor.

Andrea J. Howard, 37, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 10 with DWI, aggravated DWI, and making an unsafe lane change. Howard is accused of leaving her lane of travel and striking an unoccupied vehicle off the shoulder of the roadway on Oct. 9 near Edie Road in Wilton, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s department.   

Marie Carman, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 4 with criminal trespass misdemeanor. 

Katie Hayden, 21, of Hadley, was charged Oct. 4 in Saratoga Springs with operating motor vehicle impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation motor vehicle, refusal to take breath test, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal use drug paraphernalia. 

Scott Michalkiewicz, 45, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 5 with two misdemeanor counts criminal contempt.

Ridge Kimball, 25, of Schenectady, was charged Oct. 6 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation, and several driving/ license related violations.

Melinda Boylan, 23, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 3 in Saratoga Springs with act in a manner injure child less than 17 – a misdemeanor, and rape in the third-degree – a felony. 

Arieda Mason, 19, of Kingsbury, was charged Sept. 28 in Saratoga Springs with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, without insurance, having improper license plates, and aggravated unlicensed operation. 

Michael Bucci, 40, of Mechanicville, was charged Sept. 30 in Saratoga Springs with harassment, and criminal tampering.

October 9 – October 15, 2021

Andrew V. Cino, 28, of Rexford, pleaded Oct. 4 to felony DWI, in connection with an incident in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Dec. 6. 

Jeremy J. Cramer, 21, of Stockport, was sentenced Oct. 6 to 2 years’ incarceration on the charge of sexual abuse in the first-degree, 1-1/2 years on the charge of patronizing a prostitute in the second-degree, and 1 year on the charge of patronizing a prostitute in the third-degree. All three sentences to run concurrent to each other. The initial charges date to June 2020 in the town of Halfmoon. 

Jonathan Saunders, 40, of Mechanicville, pleaded Oct. 6 to criminal contempt in the first-degree. 

John Fink, 37, of Troy, pleaded Oct. 6 to criminal contempt in the first-degree. 

Daniel Larmon, 31, of South Glens Falls, pleaded Oct. 5 to failure to register as a sex offender, in Moreau. Sentencing Dec. 14.    

Edward Smith, 51, of Albany, pleaded Oct. 5 to felony grand larceny, in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing Dec. 14. 

Sarah H. Zimmerman, 25, of Colonie, was sentenced Sept. 29 to 1 to 3 years following conviction to vehicular assault in the second-degree, in connection with a crash that occurred Oct 2020 in the town of Halfmoon. 

Colby Flood, 19, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Oct. 1 to attempted robbery in the third-degree, a felony. Sentencing Dec. 3. 

POLICE

An early morning altercation in the 20 Lake Ave. parking lot resulted in the arrests of four people. Saratoga Springs police said they were called to the lot at approximately 3:08 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2 where they discovered four victims of an assault/robbery. The victims - one man and three women - are between 20 and 26 years of age. One woman suffered the most serious injuries of the four - cuts and lacerations to her head and face - which required treatment at Saratoga Hospital. After securing descriptions of the four suspected offenders, officers located four persons-of-interest on Woodlawn Avenue. Justin Rue, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged with Robbery, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Criminal Mischief – all felonies, and misdemeanor Assault. Krista M. Leverette, 32, of Rensselaer, was charged with Criminal Possession Weapon misdemeanor, and felony Robbery, Assault, and two counts Criminal Possession Stolen Property. Michelle A. Betts, age 29, of Albany, and Antonia J. Dean, 29, of Hudson Falls, were each charged with felony robbery, and misdemeanor assault. Police said the two groups had an exchange of words earlier in the night but did not otherwise know one another. The four people charged are suspected of attacking the victim group, causing injuries and taking their personal property. Police indicated the weapon was a cell phone, allegedly used to repeatedly strike one of the female victims in the head and face. 

Makyla P. Minius, 21, of Troy, was charged Oct. 4 with 2 counts felony grand larceny, in connection with an alleged incident that occurred Aug. 30 at the Best Buy Store on State Route 50 in the town of Wilton. Minius is accused of stealing merchandise worth a value totaling over $8,000, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. The case is still under investigation and additional arrests are expected.

On Oct. 4, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Gina M. Battista, 29, of Gansevoort, after a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking within Saratoga County. Battista was allegedly distributing quantities of heroin and fentanyl throughout the county. Charges: criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both charges are felonies and additional charges are pending. 

Kelly Hartford, 58, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 24 with misdemeanor DWI, misdemeanor aggravated DWI, and failure to keep right.

Steven Tourtellot, 47, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 24 with misdemeanor assault.

Courtney Ries, 20, of Wynantskill, was charged Sept. 26 in Saratoga Springs with criminal mischief, and obstruct governmental administration. 

Meghan King, 19, of Hudson Falls, was charged Sept. 26 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, vehicle registration suspended, and operating without insurance. 

Daniel Perodeau, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 26 with harassment, and misdemeanor criminal contempt. 

Nicole Hess, 34, of Schenectady, was charged Sept. 24 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

Steven Shedd, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 25 with harassment, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. 

Joseph Albright, 30, of Fuera Bush, was charged Sept. 26 in Saratoga Springs with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Krystle M. Furioso, 35, of Ballston Spa, was charged Oct. 3 with tampering with physical evidence, a felony.

Natalie S. Andersen, 40, of Gansevoort, was sent3enced Sept. 30 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI in Saratoga Springs, in connection with an incident in December 2020. 

Harold C. Stevenson, 47, of Schenectady, pleaded Sept. 30 to felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, in Moreau. Sentencing Dec. 7. 

Miles H. Latimer, 26, of Schenectady, pleaded Sept. 30 to felony burglary, in Clifton Park. Sentencing Dec. 9. 

John C. Heidrich, of Halfmoon, was sentenced Sept. 29 to 25 years-to-life, following a July jury verdict regarding a series of crimes he committed in January 2020 at his residence, according to a statement by Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen. Heidrich was found guilty by jury of 16 counts. The charges include: kidnapping, rape, sexual abuse, and assault. From Jan. 7-11, 2020, Heidrich held a 57-year-old Boston area against her will while physically and sexually abusing her, Heggen said. Heidrich met the victim via a phone dating service. 

Courtney L. Curley, 31, of Ballston Lake, was sentenced to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Ballston. 

Michael A. Thomas, 58, of Levittown, pleaded Sept. 29 to felony DWI, in Ballston. 

Tori Spina, 33, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Sept. 29 to felony DWI, in Charlton. 

David J. Hayes, 31, of Fort Edward, was sentenced Sept. 28 to 60 days incarceration consecutive to 30 days incarceration, after pleading to aggravated family offense, a felony. 

Kenneth Tambasco, 49, of Lake Luzerne, was sentenced to a 3-year conditional discharge, after pleading to felony criminal mischief, in Corinth. 

Tieberius T. Rozier, 22, of Ballston Lake, pleaded Sept. 28 to rape in the third-degree, in Malta. Sentencing Dec. 2. 

Paul F. Haggerty, 39, of Northumberland, pleaded Sept. 28 to reckless endangerment in the first-degree, a felony, in Greenfield. Sentencing Oct. 20. 

POLICE

Brandon J. Dugan, 25, of Ticonderoga, was charged Sept. 30 with felony burglary, and felony criminal mischief. He is suspected of forcing entry into the Jolley Mobil Convenience Store located on Clifton Country Rd in the town of Clifton Park on Sept. 3 and stealing several items from the store. 

On September 29, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Deborah M. Willson, 44, of Schuylerville, and Jacob A. Boldt, 32, of Gansevoort. Willson and Boldt are accused of having been in possession of crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine that were packaged for sale and distribution. Willson was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third-degree, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree, all felonies. Boldt was charged with one felony and one misdemeanor count criminal possession of a controlled substance. Willson was also wanted on a Saratoga County Superior Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for sentencing on an unrelated narcotics charge. Both were arraigned by Judge Coseo of the Wilton Town Court. Willson was sent to the Saratoga County Jail without bail and Boldt was released to pre-trail services. 

Justin W. Jones, 29, of Malta, was charged Sept. 29 with failure to report as a sex offender. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail, or bond. 

Ivan E. Joy, 53, of Fort Edward, was charged Sept. 26 in Moreau with aggravated family offense, criminal contempt, assault, and criminal mischief. Joy is accused of taken a phone from a person as they attempted to call 911 and striking them with it, causing physical injury, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He is also accused of violating a court order of protection in the process. 

Matian McCaskill, 48, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 21 with criminal contempt. 

Desmond Wilson, 26, of Troy, was charged Sept. 17 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Tiemogo Sangare, 20, of Clifton Park, was charged Sept. 21 with unlawful imprisonment – a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct. 

Julian Soto, 24, of Troy, was charged Sept. 21 with felony forgery. 

Shelley Green, 25, of Independence, Mo., was charged Sept. 22 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor assault. 

Joshua Willimott, 34, of Waterford, was charged Sept. 23 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, and speeding. 

Dustin Quirion, 37, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 24 with aggravated unlicensed operation, operating motor vehicle without a license, and a suspended registration.

Victor M. Dominguez, 20, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Sept. 27 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree, a felony. Sentencing Dec. 6. 

Sonja N. Ambrosino, 41, of Amsterdam, pleaded Sept. 27 to felony grand larceny, in Halfmoon. Sentencing Jan. 10, 2022. 

Michelle Iorio, 32, of Moreau, pleaded Sept. 27 to arson in the fourth-degree, a felony. Sentencing Dec. 6. 

Zachary L. Rosebrook, 22, of Waterford, pleaded Sept. 22 to rape in the first-degree, a felony, in Halfmoon. Sentencing Dec. 1. 

Jeffrey A. Thomas, 33, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Sept. 23 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to assault in the third-degree as a hate crime, a felony. The date of the initial charge was March 29, 2021. 

Lacey Utter, 22, of Broadalbin, was sentenced to 5 years in jail, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree, in Milton. 

Anthony P. DeLaurie, Jr., 44, of Gansevoort, was sentenced Sept. 23 to 3.5 years in jail, after pleading to attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree, in Wilton. 

Caroline R. Garrity, 26, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI. 

Matthew E. Ortiz, 30, of Schenectady, was sentenced Sept. 23 to 1 year in jail, after pleading to DWAI, a felony. 

POLICE

Blake Heflin, 19, of Malta, was charged Sept. 23 with criminally negligent homicide, as a result of an investigation of the death of 20-year-old Ballston Spa resident Ian Gerber. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, the death of Gerber occurred July 4, 2021 on Saratoga Lake. Heflin was operating a pontoon boat which had several young adults – including Gerber – on it, authorities said. As per the investigation, Gerber is thought to have jumped off Heflin’s boat while it was in motion and was subsequently struck by the boat’s prop, which severed his arm. Police said as Heflin turned around to pick Gerber up, Gerber was then struck by cabin cruiser operated by a 50-year-old Stillwater man. Heflin is accused for the manner in which he operated the boat as well as allegedly consuming alcohol and not taking proper safety precautions, “as to cause the death of Gerber,” according to the county sheriff’s department. 

Michael W. Siddon, 53, of Stillwater, was charged Sept. 22 criminal sexual act in the first-degree, and criminal sexual act in the third-degree.  He is accused of engaging in oral sexual conduct with another person who was less than 17 years old between June 9, 2021, and June 10, 2021, while in the village of Stillwater.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash with serious physical injuries on State Route 32 in the Town of Northumberland on Sep. 24. Authorities said an investigation into the crash revealed a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria, operated by Michael R. Brownell, 51, of Northumberland, had been traveling on NYS Route 32 when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center line resulting in a collision with a BMW motorcycle operated by 54-year-old Connecticut man David R. Hadd. Brownell fled the scene in his vehicle and did not stop to render aid to Mr. Hadd, who was later transported by ambulance to Albany Medical Center for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Brownell was located after he concealed his car in the woods not far from the crash, police said, and was charged with felony assault and felony vehicular assault, 3 counts of reckless endangerment; leaving the scene of a personal injury crash; DWI; refusal to submit to a prescreen device, and failure to maintain designated lane. Brownell was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash, or $200,000 bond. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Schuylerville Fire Department, Wilton EMS, and multiple good Samaritans in the area.

Darryl B. Williams, 31, of Mechanicville, was charged Sept. 22 following the execution of an arrest warrant. Williams had active arrest warrants out of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office regarding two domestic-related incidents in the Town of Malta, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, and an additional Superior Court arrest warrant out of Warren County for narcotic-related offenses. As a result of a traffic stop in the town of Malta, Williams was allegedly found in possession of a loaded handgun and multiple controlled substances. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Team executed a search warrant at Williams residence. A large amount of crack cocaine, as well as ammunition and drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence, authorities said. Williams was charged with three felony and three misdemeanor counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts endangering the welfare of a child, and one count each: criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief, and attempted assault.

Bonnie L. Wright, 47, of Poultney, VT, was sentenced Sept. 17 to 2 years prison and 1 year post-release supervision, after pleading to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third-degree in Wilton. 

Kristopher M. Flores, 36, of Troy, was sentenced Sept. 17 to 5 years of probation, after pleading to felony grand larceny, and offering a false instrument for filing felony, in Wilton, and Clifton Park, respectively.

Kathryn Fasano, 47, of Schenectady, was charged Sept. 20 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated criminal contempt, a felony.

Akeem Cummings, 28, of Troy, was charged Sept. 19 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI and aggravated DWI, driving on/across a sidewalk, and failure to keep right.

Christina Reid, 25, of Troy, was charged Sept. 19 in Saratoga Springs with obstruct governmental administration, a misdemeanor. 

Naqweshia Hooks, 24, of Albany, was charged Sept. 19 in Saratoga Springs with felony assault, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. 

Christopher Brewer, 39, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 17 with criminal contempt, and strangulation – both felonies, and criminal obstruction of breathing, and assault – both misdemeanors. 

Devin Palozzi, 26, of Rochester, was charged Sept. 17 in Saratoga Springs with felony criminal mischief, the misdemeanors: DWI, aggravated DWI, unlawful imprisonment, as well as refusal to take a breath test, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely, driving on/across a sidewalk, and operating an unregistered vehicle.   

Ethan Bruhns, 25, of Clifton Park, was charged Sept. 17 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, refusal to take a breath test, and moving from lane unsafely. 

Yisel Martinez, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 14 with criminal mischief, a felony. 

Jessica Akyiano, 48, of Hudson Falls, was charged Sept. 14 in Saratoga Springs with unlawful imprisonment – a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct. 

Timothy Smith, 69, of Gloversville, was charged Sept. 15 in Saratoga Springs with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. 

Ryan Edwards, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 15 with false imprisonment, a misdemeanor. 

Bryan M. Brust, 31, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 13 with grand larceny, criminal mischief, and burglary following an investigation into a burglary that occurred at the McDonald’s on Church Ave. Brust is suspected of breaking into the establishment after hours, stealing food and other items and willfully destroying property belonging to the McDonalds Corporation. 

Nicholas Bush, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 11 with misdemeanor DWI, and speeding. 

Troy Zyjee, 27, of Troy, was charged Sept. 12 in Saratoga Springs with false impersonation, a misdemeanor. 

Anuradha Khanna, 54, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 12 with two counts criminal tampering.

Christy L. Batcher, 43, of Waterford, was charged Sept. 9 with two felony counts grand larceny in the third-degree, and one felony count grand larceny in the fourth-degree, following a Sheriff’s Department investigation of alleged larcenies that occurred in the town of Clifton Park between March 25 and May 19. Batcher, self-employed as a house cleaner, is suspected of stealing several items of jewelry and silverware from elderly clients and exchanging those items for currency at a local establishment.

Patrick Weatherwax, 27, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 8 in Saratoga Springs with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and following too closely.

Madison McCoy, 21, of Mechanicville, was charged Sept. 8 in Saratoga Springs with misdemeanor DWI, speeding, and failure to keep right.

Jordan Hensleigh, 30, of Ballston Spa, was charged Sept. 10 in Saratoga Springs with criminal impersonation, and criminal contempt. Both charges are misdemeanors. 

Linda L. Nevins, 71, of South Glens Falls, was charged Sept. 9 with leaving the scene of a personal injury auto accident - a felony, in connection with an alleged incident that occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8 on Route 9 in the Town of Moreau. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, the offending vehicle fled the scene, and the victim suffered serious injury and was brought to Albany Medical Center for further treatment. 

Adam O’Brien, 36, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Sept. 3 with criminal mischief, assault, and criminal obstruction of breathing – all misdemeanors.

On Sept. 7, 2021, the New York State Police in Wilton arrested 29-year-old Jonathan J. Maye, 29, of Gansevoort, was charged Sept. 7 with criminal contempt felony, criminal mischief misdemeanor, and harassment violation, in connection with an incident in Wilton.
