SARATOGA SPRINGS – Walter J. Gurren, Jr., passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2026, with his family and “guard dog” Cooper at his side. Burial with military honors took place on May 14, at the Saratoga National Cemetery. Memorial donations to Estherville Animal Shelter, 100 Russell Road, Greenfield Center, NY 12833.
