Week of May 22 – May 28, 2026  

May 13, 2026.  12:38 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Homeless individual on charges of 3rd degree criminal tampering and 3rd degree criminal trespassing. Arrest occurred on Church Street.

May 13, 2026. 9:33 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident on charges of 3rd degree criminal tampering, disorderly conduct, operator leaves scene of property damage accident, speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right on a two lane road, 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, moving from lane unsafely, DWI- first offense, and failure to stop at a stop sign. Arrest occurred on Lake Avenue. 

May 13, 2026. 4:00 p.m.- New York State Police arrested an Amsterdam resident in the Town of Malta on charges of felony 2nd degree burglary: illegal entry of a dwelling and misdemeanor criminal mischief: intent to damage property. Central arraignment. Original incident reported on May 9 in the Town of Stillwater.

May 15, 2026. 11:42 a.m.-  New York State Police arrested a Clifton Park resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of felony criminal contempt: prior conviction within last five years and felony aggravated family offense- more than one offence within five years. Held- no bail. 

May 15, 2026. 2:53 p.m.- New York State Police arrested an Albany resident in the Town of Malta on charges of 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon: previous conviction and 2nd degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Held- no bail. 

May 15, 2026. 8:33 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident on charges of 5th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and failure to stop at a stop sign. Arrest occurred on Lincoln Avenue. 

May 15, 2026. 8:33 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident on charges of 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Arrest occurred on Lincoln Avenue. 

May 15, 2026. 8:33 p.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested an individual on charges of 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and a seat belt violation. Arrest occurred on Lincoln Avenue. 

May 15, 2026. 10:20 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Waterford resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of DWI- first offense and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Appearance ticket issued.

May 16, 2026. 1:30 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Greenfield resident in the Town of Greenfield on charges of felony aggravated unlicensed operation: permanent revocation. Arrest stemmed from a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Spider Falls Rd. 

May 16, 2026. 3:08 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Appearance ticket issued. Arrest stemmed from a two-vehicle accident on a connecting road. 

May 16, 2026. 11:44 p.m.- New York State Police arrested an Albany resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor DWI- first offense and misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense. Appearance ticket issued. 

May 17, 2026. 3:18 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested a Saratoga Springs resident on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense, DWI- first offense and improper right turn at an intersection. Arrest occurred on Putnam Street. 

May 17, 2026. 4:08 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Bennington resident on charges of 2nd degree obstruction of governmental function, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon, 3rd degree criminal tampering and 2nd degree assault. Arrest occurred on Spring Street.

May 17, 2026. 4:00 a.m.- New York State Police arrested an Albany resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense, misdemeanor DWI- first offense, misdemeanor act in a manner to injure a child less than 17, and felony aggravated DWI: a child passenger less than 16- first offense. Appearance ticket issued. 

May 17, 2026. 4:12 a.m.- Saratoga Springs Police arrested an East Dorset Vermont resident on charges of moving from lane unsafely, unregistered motor vehicle, refusal to take a breath test and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs- first offense. Arrest occurred on Spring Street. 

May 17, 2026. 9:47 p.m.- New York State Police a South Glenns Falls resident in the Village of South Glenns Falls on charges of misdemeanor reckless driving. Appearance ticket issued. Arrest stemmed from a fatal accident on Interstate 87 in the Town of Malta on Oct. 1, 2024. 

May 18, 2026. 1:27 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Watervliet resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor 3rd degree assault with intent to cause physical injury. Appearance ticket issued. 

May 18, 2026. 4:13 p.m.-  New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs- first offense, two counts of misdemeanor act in a manner to injure a child less than 17, and two counts of felony aggravated DWI: with a child passenger less than 16- first offense. Appearance ticket issued.
