SARATOGA SPRINGS — At approximately 12:15 a.m. on Sunday Aug. 28 officers on patrol and in the area of the Nashville bar on Phila Street observed an altercation at the rear of the bar in the parking lot of the Saratoga Springs Public Library.
After securing the area, it was discovered that a victim of a stabbing was located in the parking lot in the vicinity of where the altercation occurred, city police said. Patrol officers requested EMS assistance and the victim was transported to the hospital with a stab wound.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the victim had been in the Nashville just prior to the altercation observed by patrol officers. The incident remains under investigation as of Aug. 30, and the Saratoga Springs Police Department requests that anyone in the area, or inside of the Nashville, that may have observed the altercation contact the Police Department at 518-584-1800.
