July 1st Malta Town Board Review

MALTA — The Malta Town Board approved a six-month contract that states the conditions of the consolidation of Round Lake Volunteer Fire Co. and Malta Ridge Volunteer Fire Co. as they prepare to build a new joint fire station this year.

Celebrating the Town of Ballston

BALLSTON — The Town of Ballston is celebrating its past, present and future with an event filled day on July 13. Ballston225, starts at 11 a.m. at the Ballston Town Hall, Charlton Road; as well as at Merchant Farm, also on Charlton Road, just west of the town hall; and Ballston Center Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church at the corner of Charlton and Middleline Roads.

New York City Ballet Loads In at SPAC

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The much-anticipated New York City Ballet is officially moved into SPAC for its summer residency after the company loaded in its equipment July 1 and 2. Movers loaded in costumes, sound and lighting equipment and more for the ballet’s production of West Side Story. The ballet’s opening night will take place July 9 at 8 p.m. For tickets, visit www.spac.org.

SARATOGA SPRINGS — In quick fashion, the Saratoga Springs Police Department arrested a suspect in the early Tuesday morning robbery of 4,000 Hydrocodone pills from the Congress Plaza CVS Pharmacy.
