Saratoga Springs, NY- Margaret L. Kubish, 92, of Embury Apartments died peacefully at Saratoga Hospital Friday, December 2, 2011.
Born in Saratoga Springs August 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William Ebert Sr. and Marion Morehouse Ebert.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Joseph Kubish Jr. and brother, William Ebert Jr.
Margaret worked more than 30 years for the Van Raalte Company until it closed its Saratoga Springs operations. She then worked 18 years at the Wilton Developmental Center, retiring at age 70.
She was an extraordinary cook and loved to make various ethnic cuisines for her family. Margaret also enjoyed taking long rides and had a great fondness for her cats.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph P. (Sandra) and Donald W. (Colleen) Kubish; grandchildren, Kimberly (Kenneth) Brock and Joseph P (Jillair) Kubish Jr.; great-grandchildren, Victoria Brock and Geoffrey (Jessica) Yeager; and great-great-grand children, Hannah and Kenly Yeager.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery next to her husband, Joseph.
