Porter Corners, NY- Dolores A. Gyarmathy, 81, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012.
Born April 1, 1930, in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Sage and Lilly Rodgers Sage.
Dolores and her husband, John, moved to the Greenfield area in 1976 from Long Island, NY. Together they built the North Creek Mobile Village in Porter Corners. They operated this mobile home park for 36 years. Mrs. Gyarmathy also worked for over 13 years as an IRS customer service representative in Queensbury.
Upon John’s retirement, they purchased a motor home and traveled the country. They also enjoyed camping with their family. John passed away in 1991. After his passing, Dolores became very active within the areas senior citizens organizations, including the Saratoga Springs, Greenfield and Wilton Seniors.
Survivors include her sons, Michael J. (Marion) and Stephen J. (Renee); and four grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Jordon and Stephen Gyarmathy.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, March 15, 2012.
