Lions Club Christmas Pop-Up Shop

The Town of Greenfield Lions Club will hold the event at the Greenfield Community Center, 25 Wilton Rd. in Greenfield on December 9 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Lions will be selling fresh homemade hot soups or chili, baked goods, and coffee. There will be local vendors and crafters, a Lions cookbook for sale and a food drive for the Food Pantry. The event is free and open to the public. 31st Annual Holiday Cookie Sale

Saturday, December 9 at 10 p.m. at the Galway United Methodist Church, located at the Corner of Rte 147 and CR 45, Galway. This is the oldest and continuously held sale in the area. 11th Annual Wreaths for Veterans Observance 

Veterans and their families will be honored with the laying of wreaths by members of the Glenville Hills Garden Club on Saturday, December 9, at noon at the following locations: Galway Junior-Senior High School, Galway Town Hall, Galway Village Park, Gideon Hawley Park in Charlton, Providence Town Hall, and the Scotch Church Cemetery in West Charlton. The public is invited.

Army vs Navy Football Party

Held at the Saratoga-Wilton Elks Lodge, 1 Elks Lane, Saratoga Springs on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. There will be games, hot appetizers, and snacks then a BBQ chicken dinner at half time. The Liberty Freestyle Christmas Show

December 10 at 1 p.m. (Gates open at noon). The celebration of horsemanship is sponsored and presented by Fahey Family Ranch. It will be held at Long Shadows’ indoor arena at 84 Dr. Brown Lane, Cambridge. Silent auction (great holiday gifts), bake sale, and 50/50 raffle. Entertainment for the whole family. Admission is free. The event will showcase the talent of local liberty horsemanship performers. All proceeds from the event will benefit Dorset Equine Rescue and Long Shadows Charitable Foundation. 

Repair Café

Saratoga Springs Public Library and Sustainable Saratoga are excited to host our 10th Repair Café at the library in the Harry Dutcher Room from 1 – 4 p.m. We will have coaches available to help you fix your lamps, small appliances, computers, leather, jewelry, or sew/hem your favorite item of clothing or beloved stuffed animal. Songs of Light and Hope

Saratoga Jewish Community Arts, with a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York and sponsorship of Temple Sinai of Saratoga Springs and Congregation Beth Shalom of Clifton Park, brings Songs of Light and Hope: A Chanukah Concert and Sing-along on Saturday, December 9, at 7 p.m. at Congregation Beth Shalom, 688 Clifton Park Center Rd., Clifton Park. Saratoga Senior Center’s “Santas for Seniors” provides wish lists for donors willing to adopt a senior this holiday season.
