State Police arrest Mechanicville woman following EMS provider assault investigation

On October 29, 2026, State Police of Brunswick, with the assistance of Troy Police Department, arrested Jennifer Euber, 36, of Mechanicville, NY, for two counts of Assault 2nd, a class “D” felony.

On October 28, 2026, at about 1:49 p.m., State Police responded to the report of a combative individual being transported via ambulance to Samaritan Hospital.

The Troy Police Department assisted EMS providers near Oakwood Avenue in Brunswick, and the ambulance continued to the hospital. Troopers responded to Samaritan Hospital, where the investigation determined that, while being treated and transported, Euber reportedly kicked and struck two EMS providers, causing them injury.

Upon discharge from the medical facility, Euber was arrested and transported to SP Brunswick for processing. She was arraigned at the Brunswick Town Court, where she was released under the supervision of the Rensselaer County Probation Department.

In a Facebook post, the Saratoga County Office of Emergency Management condemned the attack on the EMS Providers.

“The recent felony arrest of a woman in Saratoga County for allegedly kicking and injuring two medics inside an ambulance highlights why we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for assaults on first responders,” the post read. “We stand behind our healthcare workers and ensure that anyone who attacks the people trying to help them faces the maximum legal consequences.”
