Dear Mona, 

I really need to get my act together. I just can’t seem to get into a routine of going to the men’s room outside when I am at other people’s houses. When I am home, my mom has me in my crate sometimes so I can nap some during the day and it’s easy for me to tell her when I have to go. But when I am visiting family and friends, I just can’t handle all the excitement and I have accidents inside. What do I do to whip myself into shape so people will gladly have me over for playtime? #pottytrainingatitsworst

Dear Charmin,

I know you are just a pup, so go easy on yourself. My advice is to make sure you go to the men’s room before you enter someone’s house. It’s ok to hang out in your crate sometimes, too. It’s important that you practice the same routine that you have at home with your mama while at other’s people’s houses. I promise that in time, you will be able to control yourself and communicate what you need to do when you need to do it! When someone takes you outside, take advantage! #yourtreatintakewillbeawesome
