My name’s Vegas and I’m a very friendly American Bulldog/Pitbull mix. My dad says I think I’m a lap dog, but I just love everybody! Anyway, I love chew toys and bones and rawhide and all sorts of good stuff I can really sink my teeth into. What’s your favorite toy? Can you suggest some dog toys that might hold up a little better for larger dogs? Or should my dad just stick to bones and pig ears? Asking for a friend ;-)

Dear Mona,

I’m Casey, a pit/beagle mix, and the BEST DOG in the world! (Or so my mommy tells me EVERYDAY!) My life is pretty much perfect — I get the run of the house, I play nicely with the cats and I get to go for rides whenever I give mommy the “You’re not going to leave me home AGAIN are you?” look (it works every time)! But I do have a problem, and my problem is this: for five nights a week, I get to sleep with my mom while dad goes off to work, but when he’s home, he kicks ME out of the bed! Can you believe it??!?!??! That’s MY bed! Obviously, he’s gotta go - how do you suggest I get rid of him? #sleeplessonweekends

I am really into this one dog, Hannah. She is the most gorgeous Springer Spaniel on the planet. Every time I see her at the dog park, I get nervous, steal her toys and then ignore her. I don’t know why I act so weird around her; I am a confident three year old golden retriever with some serious swagger. I think Hannah’s the one, what do I do? #taildraggingsolowWHY?!

That is the coolest name I have ever heard of, are you pink? Anyway, I’m sure Hannah is reading your mixed signals and is wondering if you really like her. Next time you see her, pull yourself together and bring her a toy. This small gesture will help you get more comfortable and then maybe a fun friendship or love affair will ensue. I’m Henry, I’m a 3 month old Labradoodle and I have a secret. I really like shoes. I like to steal, chew and hide them. I like to take them to bed with me and even outside when I go run in the backyard. I adore the sound when my mom wears heels, I imagine the taste of the leather. I think I have a problem.
