Xavior “Sam” Mastrianni Scholarship Applications Available

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Xavior “Sam” Mastrianni Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications. The Mastrianni Fund honors the memory of Dr. Sam Mastrianni, a Saratoga Springs psychiatrist and resident, whose vision and leadership guided the expansion of mental health services in Saratoga County until his death in 1995. Each year multiple scholarships are awarded to students who live in the Capital District Region and who are advancing their education or professional development in the field of mental health. Scholarship applicants can represent a broad range of experiences and backgrounds, but preference is given to individuals with a focus on mental health. The application deadline is April 25, 2014.
