Make-A-Wish Fundraiser Honors Lost Classmates

GUILDERLAND — A small number of graduates from Guilderland High School’s Class of 1978 met last year to begin planning a 35th reunion and, as they began talking, learned that a number of classmates—more than 15—had died.

MALTA — What a difference a week makes—last Friday night Ronnie Johnson vacated the Albany Saratoga Speedway with a severely wrecked race car in the back of his car carrier. But when the Palmer’s Service Center sponsored 35-lap Modified feature event ended this time around, Johnson was celebrating in victory lane. It was an emotional win for Johnson and team.

  • Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office  The Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident call on Manchester Drive in the town of Halfmoon on April 21. Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Julia H. Kim (age 33) of Halfmoon, who was charged with assault in the 2nd degree (class D felony) and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree (class A misdemeanor). Kim is accused of causing physical injury to a person known to her by striking them to the head with a frying pan. She was arraigned before the Honorable Joseph V. Fodera in the Halfmoon Town…
