Blotter Report
Between Oct. 14 and Oct. 21, the New York State Police reported 252 incidents in their daily blotter reports. The most common incident was a property damage accident with 50 incidents. In total, State Police reported 95 individuals involved in accidents and 28 individuals arrested on 53 charges.
The top three municipalities by incidents were:

2. Wilton- 37
3. Malta- 29
October 14, 2026. 4:05 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Waterford resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of misdemeanor reckless driving, 2nd degree reckless endangerment, 3rd degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, 2nd degree obstruct governmental administration- prevent official function, and false written statement. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident occurred on Oct. 12.
October 15, 2026. 2:45 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Waterford resident in the Town of Malta on charges of misdemeanor petit larceny, 3rd degree criminal trespass: property fenced in or enclosed, and 6th degree conspiracy. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident occurred on Sept. 23 in the Village of Schuylerville.
October 16, 2026. 1:10 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Corinth resident in the Town of Niskayuna on charges of felony operate a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- prior conviction within 10 years, felony DWI: previous conviction within 10 years, felony aggravated DWI: BAC of .18 or higher- prior conviction within 10 years, and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Appearance ticket issued. Original incident occurred on Aug. 27 in the Town of Malta.
October 17, 2026. 11:34 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Porter Corners resident in the Town of Milton on charges of misdemeanor operate a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense, DWI- first offense, and aggravated DWI- BAC of .18 or higher- no priors. Appearance ticket issued. Arrest stemmed from single vehicle personal injury accident on N Milton Rd.
October 18, 2026. 3:47 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Ballston Spa resident in the Town of Malta on charges of DWI- first offense, operate motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher- first offense, and aggravated DWI BAC of .18 or higher- first offense. Appearance ticket issued.
October 19, 2026. 6:26 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Glens Falls resident in the Town of Clifton Park on charges of felony DWI: prior conviction within 10 years. Appearance ticket issued.
October 20, 2026. 9:06 a.m.- New York State Police arrested a Hamden, CT resident in the Town of Malta on charges of felony criminal possession of a firearm- possess a firearm, and felony criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm- other than person’s home/business. Appearance ticket issued.
October 20, 2026. 2:25 p.m.- New York State Police arrested a Mechanicville resident in the Town of Wilton on charges of felony 4th degree grand larceny: value greater than $1000, and felony 1st degree falsify business records. Appearance ticket issues. Original incident occurred on Oct. 17 in the Town of Moreau.
