Narcotics Arrest

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Saratoga Springs Police Department Special Investigation Narcotics Unit arrested Christopher J. Legg, 42, Herkimer Street, Victory Mills, as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation in to the distribution of cocaine in Saratoga Springs. Legg has been a person of interest to the narcotics unit for distributing cocaine to various locations in the city. Arrest warrants were secured for Legg and with the assistance of the New York State Police he was taken in to custody in Wilton without incident. Legg was transported to the Saratoga Springs Police Department, processed and then remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail. Legg is scheduled to be arraigned by the Hon. Judge Jerry Scarano in Saratoga County Court. He was charged with two counts of second degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class A felonies and four counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all Class B felonies.
