New Dunkin’ Donuts Opens on Sad Note

MILTON – Family and friends gathered Wednesday during a special ceremony to remember the late Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee Jerry Burke, and to celebrate the opening of The Burke Companies’ newest Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant in Saratoga County.

Burke, who passed away on Sept. 15 after a motor vehicle accident, had been diligently working to open the new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant at 14 Trieble Avenue in Milton. The private event featured an official ribbon cutting, the release of monarch butterflies and the unveiling of a memorial stone in the patio area.
