Lorraine H. DiSimone

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Lorraine H. DiSimone, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Born in Queens on January 23, 1937 to the late Horace and Helen Tomasello, she was a graduate of Bryant High School in Astoria, NY. She owned and operated Niverville Meats and Deli in Niverville, NY with husband Carl. Lorraine enjoyed reading, cooking, art, music and being surrounded by family and friends. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband Carl DiSimone and siblings Joseph and Thomas Tomasello. Survivors include her beloved children, Regina Face of Ballston Lake, Lucia Cassia (Michael) of Wilton, and Lorraine Klembczyk (Jeff) of Saratoga Springs; sisters Regina Ungar of Kendall Park, NJ, Dolores Tomasello of West Palm Beach, FL, and Carol Gallagher of Mattituck, NY; grandmother of Douglas and Steven Face of Ballston Lake and Brianna and Maya Cassia of Wilton. Relatives and friends gathered on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 at the William J. Burke and Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes of Saratoga Springs. A funeral home service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 by Fr. Thomas J. Kelly and burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerald B.H. Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Julia H.
