Menu: Fried or baked haddock $14; fried clam strips $12 (includes French fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce); shrimp salad special (includes French fries and coleslaw), homemade macaroni and cheese $5; New England and Manhattan clam chowder $7 (pint) or $13 (quart); side of French Fries $3; and dessert $2. Orders will be taken by calling 518-584-8547 each week prior to the event on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., except for Fridays, which will continue right up until the event or we run out of food. Pickup starts at 5 p.m. and every 15 minutes thereafter. Pick-up inside the building with a mask, or call from the parking lot with a description of your vehicle and your meal will be brought out to you.  The event will be held each Friday during Lent through April 2.

Matt McCabe Memorial
A Virtual Celebration, Caffe Lena | 7 p.m.

This event is a virtual celebration of the life and legacy of Matt McCabe, longtime owner of Saratoga Guitar and dedicated member of the local music scene. Friends and family have submitted tributes, photos, and performances dedicated to Matt, which have been compiled and will play as a live stream hosted by Matt’s close friend Rick Bolton. Matt was always a kind and generous neighbor, and supported many individuals and organizations, including Caffe Lena, through his mentorship and his donations of instruments and equipment. Caffe Lena is proud to share this celebration of Matt’s life with the community, on what will be officially declared Matt McCabe day in Saratoga Springs. Get outdoors biweekly to enjoy the beauty of winter with likeminded people. Wilton Wildlife Preserve’s Winter Wellness Walks cover 1.5 miles of gentle terrain. Snowshoes will be available for rental 30 minutes before the program. If there is no snow, the program will take place without snowshoes. Registration is required to meet COVID requirements. Ageless Dancer Series

On Mondays, Mary Anne Fantauzzi will teach Ballet Barre & Balance. This class will include a modified classical ballet technique class with emphasis on the improvement of balance, core and pelvic stabilization, fluidity of movement, coordination, and musicality. Participants need a barre or sturdy high back chair. Fitness attire and ballet slippers are recommended. Five classes from February 22 – March 22 for $30. Storytelling Night

On Wednesdays, Sharyn Kalinkewicz will teach Beginner Pilates Mat. This class will focus on the six principles of Joseph Pilates: breath, concentration, focus, control, flow, and precision. No experience is necessary. Pilates is known to improve the overall health of its participants especially by activating the deep core muscles for stabilization. Participants need a resistance band and yoga mat. Fitness attire and bare feet are recommended. Five classes from Feb. 24-March 24 for $30. Folded Book Art: Making a Heart

Take an old book and transform it into a work of art! In this program, Amy Hughes demonstrates upcycling a book into a piece of art by folding the pages into the shape of a heart. The Flurry 21

Flurry’21: Dancing in the Cloud will include more than 150 Zoom sessions of music, dance, jam sessions, educational workshops, social hours, and much more. New York State’s Free Fishing Weekend

As part of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s NY Open for Fishing and Hunting initiative, the weekend of February 13-14, 2021, is a designated free fishing weekend. The requirement for a fishing license is waived during this period. This is a great opportunity to try ice fishing for the first time or for experienced anglers to take friends ice fishing for the first time.

Owl Prowl

Participants ages 5 and older along with a parent or caregiver will assemble at the main parking lot of Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, learn owl calls, and then go for an Owl Prowl walk to listen for these nighttime predators. Please bring snowshoes if you have them, otherwise the Park will have loaners for your use. Please bring a flashlight and dress for the weather as this will be a totally outdoor experience. Ages 5-13. Ninjas will be put into groups of similar ability. Age-appropriate/specific drills will always be used, with a heightened emphasis on skill and long-term athlete development. Saratoga Chowder Tour 2021
Various locations in Saratoga County | Just two days left of the Saratoga Chowder Tour.  Visit participating Saratoga restaurants for a cup or bowl of chowder along with lunch or dinner and your favorite beverage. Participants will also have pints and quarts of chowder to-go! There will be no $1 samples this year, just bowls/cups/pints and quarts. Everything You Need to Know About Agricultural Acreage – Join the Agricultural Stewardship Association for a zoom workshop that will provide you with resources to help evaluate farms and vacant land that you may be listing.  Our presenter is Jennifer Fimbel, a Senior Resource Educator for Agriculture with Duchess County Cornell Cooperative Extension Educator. She has extensive experience working with realtors to help them assess and effectively market farmland as well as understanding the needs of clients hoping to purchase farmland. Saratoga Chowderfest is being reimagined for 2021 as a Chowder Tour! Grab your friends and family and visit participating Saratoga restaurants for a cup or bowl of chowder along with lunch or dinner and your favorite beverage. Participants will also have pints and quarts of chowder to-go! Try the chowder and then go online to vote for your favorite. There will be no $1 samples this year, just bowls/cups/pints and quarts. Malta Food Fest: Support District Programs

The Saratoga County Chamber will host the 2nd Annual Malta Food Fest. This will be the last event until the beginning of Lent. Orders will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until we have run out. Menu: fried or baked haddock ($14) or fried clam strips ($12), shrimp salad special ($10), New England clam chowder ($4), macaroni and cheese ($5), and dessert ($2).  You may enter the building wearing a mask or call from the parking lot upon your arrival, give a description of your vehicle, and your meal will be brought out to you.  Thank you for your support.
