Cohoes Woman Accused of Stealing Sheriff’s Body Camera

A Cohoes woman is facing a felony charge after she allegedly stole a body camera during an incident at a Halfmoon restaurant.

Amy Noonan, 48, of Cohoes was arrested on July 24, 2026, on charges of felony tampering with physical evidence and misdemeanor petit larceny. The incident also resulted in the arrest of a Cohoes man, Christopher Selig, 46, on charges of misdemeanor 2nd degree obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrested and disorderly conduct, a violation.

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Emma Jayne’s Restaurant around 10:05 p.m. for a disturbance call.  There, they found Selig allegedly causing a disturbance at the restaurant and attempted to take him into custody — which Selig is alleged to have physically resisted.

During the attempt to take Selig into custody, Noonan is alleged to have stolen a deputy’s body camera that had fallen to the ground during the altercation and concealed it from deputies to prevent its use in official proceedings.

Following the incident, Selig and Noonan were both released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in the Halfmoon Town Court.
