Timothy A. Martin, 40, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Dec. 6 to 2 to 4 years in state prison, after pleading to felony burglary. 

John R. Bellon, 25, of Porter Corners, pleaded Dec. 6 to criminal possession, and criminal sale of a controlled substance, in Malta. Sentencing scheduled Jan. 30. 

Scott F. Luciano, 32, of Galway, and Shane A. Nadolny, 41, of Ballston Spa, each pleaded Dec. 5 to robbery in the first-degree, admitting that they forcibly stole money from a man in Saratoga Springs on July 9, 2018. Sentencing is scheduled Jan. 30, 2019. 

Isaiah M. Robinson, 23, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Dec. 4 to felony burglary. Sentencing scheduled Jan. 29. 

Aaron Brinkley, 31, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Dec. 6 to two years in jail, after being convicted in a jury trial of aggravated animal cruelty, in connection with an incident that occurred in Saratoga Springs in 2017.

Ivan M. Erchak, age 44, of Saratoga Springs was charged Dec. 6 with felony burglary, six misdemeanor counts petit larceny, two misdemeanor counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal impersonation, criminal possession stolen property - three counts, unauthorized use of a vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged Erchak was involved in numerous theft offenses on the west side of the city in October. 

Bailey M. Turney, age 22, Ballston Spa, was charged Dec. 5 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle third degree- misdemeanor; following motor vehicle too closely; operating motor vehicle with suspended registration.

Joseph P. Landry, IV, 33, of Greenwich, was sentenced Nov. 30 to one year in jail, after pleading to felony DWI, in Saratoga. 

Brian S. McEnteggart, 25, of Mechanicville, pleaded Dec. 3 to felony grand larceny in the fourth-degree, in connection with an incident that occurred in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing scheduled Feb. 19, 2019. 

POLICE

Stephen J. Miller, 39, of Gansevoort, was charged Dec. 3 with abortion second-degree, a felony, and reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor. Miller is accused of “repeatedly and aggressively” pushing on the abdomen of a 26-week pregnant female using his closed fists, in an attempt to cause a miscarriage, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged following an investigation into a domestic incident in the town of Northumberland. The female victim was treated medically and at this time the unborn child is not believed to have been harmed in the incident, according to authorities. 

Jason M. McMahon, age 41, Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 29 with two felony counts grand larceny fourth-degree/credit card, and two misdemeanor counts petit larceny.

Eugene E. Bessette, age 26, Cambridge, was charged Nov. 29 with circumvent interlock-court order-operation without device – misdemeanor; failed to stop at stop sign.

Erbelth Centeno, age 26, of Schenectady, was sentenced Nov. 13 to five years in state priosn, after pleading to attempted robbery in the second-degree, in Ballston. 

Brice L. Dobson, age 40, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced Nov. 13 to one year in jail, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree, in Moreau. 

Nicholas B. Angelo, age 30, of Amsterdam, was sentenced Nov. 14 to eight years in state prion, after pleading to robbery in the first-degree, in Saratoga Springs.

Corey A. Saxton, age 32, of Greenwich, was sentenced Nov. 14 to 3.5 years in state prison, after pleading to attempted robbery in the second-degree, in Saratoga Springs. 

Jeffrey D. Hulett, age 26, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced to six months jail, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree, in Malta. 

Steven Welch, age 35, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to five years of probation, after pleading to criminal contempt in the first-degree. 

Robert L. Giroux, age 49, of Gansevoort, pleaded Nov. 15 to felony DWI, in Moreau. Sentencing scheduled for Jan. 10, 2019. 

POLICE

Kristianna Olson, age 33, of Greenfield, was charged in Saratoga Springs on Nov. 12 with being a fugitive from justice, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree. She is alleged to have been in possession of a quantity of methamphetamines. According to police, the investigation also determined she has outstanding felony warrants from Sarasota, Florida for drug possession.  Olson was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail, to await extradition.

Christopher W. Crumble, age 23, Saratoga Springs, was charged on Nov. 12 with assault in the second degree/intent physical injury- felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance- felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance – felony.  It is alleged Crumble assaulted a 30-year-old male while on Caroline Street, by repeatedly punching him in the head and face. The assault caused several facial fractures that required emergency medical treatment, according to police. Crumble was found to allegedly be in possession of over 4 grams of powdered cocaine, which lead to the narcotic’s charges. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash, or $60,000 bond.

Jason P. Alcorace, age 43, Porters Corners, was charged Nov. 15 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle third degree- misdemeanor. 

Ernesto Bautistajuarez, age 24, Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 15 with criminal mischief fourth degree/intent to damage property – misdemeanor. 

James J. Hall, age 26, Stillwater, was charged Nov. 13 with operating motor vehicle with suspended registration; speeding - posted zone; aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle third degree- misdemeanor.

Thomas J. Greiner, age 28, Watervliet, was charged on Nov. 12 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle third degree- misdemeanor; speeding - posted zone. 

Lauren J. Demetreus, age 23, Malta, was charged on Nov. 11 with driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor; following motor vehicle too closely.

Marcus T. Jackson, age 29, Saratoga Springs, was charged on Nov. 11 with criminal contempt second degree/ disobedience- misdemeanor; aggravated family offense- felony. 

Shawn M. Johnson, age 36, Saratoga Springs, was charged on Nov. 9 with criminal trespass third degree/building or property- misdemeanor.

November 16 – November 20, 2018

COURT

Sam Donadio, age 66, of Broadalbin, was sentenced Nov. 5 to 30 days in jail and five years of probation and ordered to pay $152,086.61 in restitution. That amount is equal to the amount Donadio, president of Power Pallet Recycling, unlawfully withheld from Stewart’s Shops Corporation over a three-year period, Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen said in a statement. Donadio under-reported the weight of items which he recycled on behalf of Stewart’s by approximately 20 percent. 

Jennifer A. Gray, age 26, and Cassidy A. Gary, 19, both of Moreau, were each charged with making a punishable false written statement – a misdemeanor; Gray was additionally charged with falsely reporting an incident in the third-degree. The charges are in connection with a report made to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office of a child abduction that allegedly occurred at Wal Mart, in Wilton. Authorities said an investigation determined that the alleged incident did not occur. 

Tara M. Belak, age 40, of Corinth, pleaded Nov. 7 to felony grand larceny in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing scheduled Jan. 30. 

Kevin S. Cuva, age 45, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to 1.5 to 3 years in state prison after pleading to aggravated family offense- felony.   

Nicholas M. Hall, age 21, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Nov. 7 to 1 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to use of a child in a sexual performance- felony.

Johnathan L. Brown, age 20, Schenectady, was charged Nov. 9 with criminal possession of a forged instrument second- felony; false impersonation- misdemeanor.

John P. Vance, 29, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced Oct. 30 to one year in jail, after pleading to felony DWAI, in Moreau. 

Kathryn A. Price, 58, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Oct. 30 to four months in jail and five years of probation, after pleading to felony grand larceny in connection with charges from Dec. 18, 2015 to Oct. 27, 2017, in Saratoga Springs. Price was also sentenced to three years of probation on the additional charge of criminal tax fraud in the fifth-degree, a misdemeanor. 

POLICE 

Stephen T. Ouimet, 43, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 1 with the felonies reckless endangerment in the first-degree and criminal mischief in the second-degree; driving while ability impaired by drugs - a misdemeanor, reckless driving and the traffic violations of making an unsafe lane change, failure to keep right. Ouimet is accused of intentionally driving his 2007 Subaru Forester into the path of a tractor trailer, which was westbound on State Route 29 in the town of Saratoga and causing a motor vehicle collision on July 21, 2018, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured. Ouimet suffered significant injuries as a result of the collision and was flown to Albany Medical Center. The tractor trailer sustained more than $24,000 in damages, according to authorities. Ouimet was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. 

Jammel A. Dillon, 28, of South Glens Falls, was charged Nov. 2 with two counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third-degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh-degree. Dillon is suspected of distributing cocaine throughout Saratoga County. He was sent to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility with no bail. 

Arthur F. Carpenter, 68, of Goshen, Ohio, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second-degree, a felony, after allegedly attempting to enter the Knolls Kesselring federal site with a loaded hand gun. The hand gun was legally owned in the state of Ohio, but the Carpenter did not have a New York State pistol permit, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He was arraigned in the Milton Town Court and released to appear on a future date.   

Nicholas T. Lareau, 30, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Nov. 5 with attempted assault in the second-degree/administering drug- a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.  Shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, city police were summoned to Gaffney’s Restaurant by security staff at the venue who reported a male patron notified them he had observed someone putting a foreign substance into the patron’s drink.  According to city police, the person, suspected of being Lareau, had used an “eye dropper” to put the drops into the patron’s drink. Officers were able to locate Lareau and retrieve the dropper involved, police said. A subsequent field test of the bottle’s contents tested positive for MDMA. Additionally, Lareau was allegedly found to be in possession of several loose Xanax pills, which is a controlled substance. Lareau was charged, arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash, or $4,000 bond and was later released on bail. The bottle and its contents will be sent to the New York State Police laboratory for further analysis. 

Annette M. Cammarere, age 57, Ballston Spa, was charged Nov. 1 with aggravated unlicensed operation third degree- misdemeanor; failed to signal a turn. 

Douglas J. Freemire, age 50, Gansevoort, was charged Oct. 31 with driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor; aggravated driving while intoxicated- misdemeanor; right of way violation / left turn. 

Matthew J. Stephens, age 18, Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 31 with criminal possession of marijuana fifth degree- misdemeanor/ 2 counts; unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Thomas C. Madsen, age 20, Cohoes, was charged Oct. 30 with assault in the third degree/ intent physical injury- misdemeanor. 

William D. Terry,  42, Schenectady, was charged Oct. 30 with petit larceny- misdemeanor. 

Randy L. Jones, age 51, Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 29 with harassment second-degree.

Gary S. Jordan, age 54, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Oct. 25 to possession of a sexual performance by a child, a felony. Sentencing scheduled Jan. 9. 

Emily C. Strobel, age 34, of Greenfield, was sentenced Oct. 25 to five days in jail and five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI in Saratoga Springs.

Michael J. Scoville, age 23, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 24 with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth-degree, both misdemeanors, following an investigation of larcenies that occurred in Wilton. Scoville is suspected of stealing property out of cars during the overnight hours in August 2018, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. 

Nicholas F. Hoddick, age 20, Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 29 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor. 

Justin E. Herringshaw, age 30, Saratoga Springs, was charged Oct. 29 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor. 

Derrick R. Sweet, age 28, Gloversville, was charged Oct. 28 with disorderly conduct; harassment second degree - physical contact. 

Michael L. Starr, age 22, Putnam Station, was charged Oct. 27 with unlawful possession of marijuana; criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor.

Sean M. Blanchard, age 27, Broadalbin, was charged Oct. 16 with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th- misdemeanor; unlawful possession of marijuana; no/expired inspection certificate. 

Ryan D. Brust, 22, of Middle Grove, was charged Oct. 12 with felony rape. Brust is accused of being involved in an inappropriate relationship with a female under the age of 17, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

October 26th – November 1st, 2018

COURT

Brandon M. Iacovissi, age 28, of Clifton Park, pleaded Oct. 23 to vehicular assault in the first-degree, in connection with an incident that took place in Clifton Park, in April. Iacovissi drove across a center dividing line on Route 146 and hit a minivan head-on, causing serious injuries to four people, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office. Sentencing scheduled Dec. 18. 

Joey M. Castro, age 25, of Saratoga Springs, was convicted Oct. 22 of the following: first degree assault, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of reckless endangerment – all felonies, and failure to register an assault rifle. The charges are in connection with a shooting incident Oct. 8, 2017 in Moreau, during which Castro caused serious injury to a neighbor, Michael Desnoyers, after shooting Desnoyers in the back with an AR-15 style assault rifle, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office. Desnoyers was left paralyzed from the waist down as a result of the defendant’s actions.   

Alexander M. Rand, age 33, of Hudson Falls, was sentenced Oct. 24 to five years of probation, after pleading to aggravated DWI in Saratoga Springs. 

Clifford C. Colvin, Jr., age 58, of Galway, was sentenced Oct. 24 to one year in jail, after pleading to aggravated DWI in Saratoga Springs. 

Joseph P. Russell, age 25, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Oct. 24 to felony DWI and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, also a felony. Sentencing scheduled Jan. 9. 

Daniel P. O’Connor, age 35, of Glens Falls, pleaded Oct. 17 to felony DWI, in Wilton. Sentencing scheduled Dec. 12. 

David Bowman, age 63, of Malta, was sentenced Oct. 18 to five years of probation, after pleading to grand larceny in the fourth-degree. 

David E. Lamar, age 47, of Malta, was sentenced Oct. 18 to 1-3/4 years in state prison, after pleading to vehicular assault in the first-degree.

Jesse R. Hammons, 64, and Jody L Boozell, 54, both of Atlanta, Georgia, were each charged with multiple felony counts and misdemeanor of criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as the felonies: criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a firearm. 

Michael P. Mills, 32, of Cavendish, Vermont was charged Oct. 9 with making a terroristic threat, a felony. Mills is accused of calling the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office and stating he was “coming to the facility to shoot a member of the department,” and making further statements that he would “shoot up everyone,” according to the sheriff’s office. Members of the Saratoga County Sheriff, Criminal Investigation Unit, took custody of Mills at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vermont.  He was transferred to Milton Town Court where he was arraigned and was sent to jail in lieu $10,000 cash or 20,000 bond.    

Alicia N. Wilmot, age 28, Gansevoort, was charged Oct. 12 with criminal mischief 4th degree/prevent assistance- misdemeanor.

  • Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office  The Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident call on Manchester Drive in the town of Halfmoon on April 21. Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Julia H. Kim (age 33) of Halfmoon, who was charged with assault in the 2nd degree (class D felony) and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree (class A misdemeanor).
