COURT

Trevor L. Klock, 32, of Buffalo, was sentenced March 8 to five days jail and five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Saratoga Springs.

Eric M. Jukna, 36, of Mechanicville, was sentenced March 8 to five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI, in Malta. 

Carl E. Allen, 28, of Milton, pleaded March 2 to felony criminal mischief. Sentencing scheduled for April 27. 

Catherine D. Fish, 37, of Victory Mills, pleaded March 2 to felony DWI. Sentencing scheduled April 19. 

Thomas J. Dingmon, 26, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded March 2 to two felony counts burglary, in connection with an incident in Milton. Sentencing scheduled April 20. 

Ashley A. Tappan, 32, of Ballston Spa, pleaded March 2 to felony DWI, in connection with an incident in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing scheduled April 20. 

Jordan A. Jones, 26, of Ballston Spa, pleaded March 2 to felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, in connection with an incident in Milton. Sentencing scheduled April 20. 

POLICE

Bernard P. Byrne, age 69, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 28 with harassment second degree - physical contact, and with making a terroristic threat- felony. Byrne was in a dining establishment on Caroline Street where it is alleged he became irate and started to scream at staff and patrons and said he would return with a machine gun to kill them all. Byrne left the establishment before police arrived,  but was located nearby. 

Joshua W. Leary, age 29, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 25 with criminally using drug paraphernalia. 

Brandon T. Wickham, age 22, Clifton Park, was charged Feb. 25 with misdemeanor DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana, one-way street.

Adonye M. Nelson, age 21, Glens Falls, was charged Feb. 25 with resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. 

Elaina I. Rando, age 19, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 24 with criminal possession of a forged instrument – felony. 

Elwood C. Hallett, age 23, Amsterdam, was charged Feb. 24 with failure to signal a turn, aggravated unlicensed operation, and operate motor vehicle by unlicensed driver. 

Emmanuel W. Cobbs, age 28, NYC, was charged Feb. 24 with aggravated unlicensed operation, and using another’s driver’s license- 3 counts. 

Donna A. Demers, age 32, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 24 with criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor DWI, and no/expired inspection certificate. 

Andre J. Lundstrom, age 46, Schenectady, was charged Feb. 23 with criminal trespass – a misdemeanor. 

Brittany L. Henry, age 27, Charlton, was charged Feb. 23 with failed to stop at stop sign, and misdemeanor DWI.

William D. French, age 45, Queensbury, was charged Feb. 23 with petit larceny. 

Ariel F. Spargo, age 35, Troy, was charged Feb. 23 with misdemeanor DWI. 

Collin D. Case, age 22, Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 23 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Shane T. Hawthorne, age 32, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 22 with aggravated unlicensed operation, after being involved in a property damage accident. 

Corrina E. Norton, age 25, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 23 with petit larceny.

Cody G. Briscoe, age 24, Malta, was charged Feb. 22 with criminal possession of a controlled substance, failure to obey traffic control device, operation of motor vehicle with a restriction. 

James D. Greenleaf, age 29, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 21 with animal cruelty and abandonment- two counts. 

Brendan M. Oliver, age 24, Saratoga Springs was charged Feb. 21 with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, failure to stop at stop sign, failure to signal a turn, and operating motor vehicle with improper plates. 

Nova J. Saffer, age 48, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 21 with misdemeanor assault.

Ellisha G. Boyea, age 22, Saratoga Springs was charged Feb. 21 with petit larceny- 2 counts.

On March 1, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office was notified by a school administrator of two separate incidents of verbal threats being made by two 12-year-old male students at Mechanicville High School.  The threats that were made were directed at the school and several 12-year-old and 13-year-old students.  The threats involved statements made about a shooting at the school. Both incidents were investigated and resulted in one 12-year-old male resident of the Town of Halfmoon, and one 12-year-old male resident of the City of Mechanicville being charged with Making a Terroristic Threat. Both were referred to the Saratoga County Probation Department. Police did not publicly release their names.

COURT

Alonte J. White, was sentenced March 1 to 10 years in state prison, in connection with the charge of felony burglary, in Saratoga Springs. 

William E. Bounds, 32, of Schuylerville, pleaded March 1 to criminal sexual act, a felony. Sentencing scheduled April 27. 

Rakell L. Dutcher, 32, of Galway, was sentenced March 1 to 1 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to aggravated DWI.

Noah J. Hughes, 27, of Scotia, was sentenced Feb. 28 to time served and five years of probation, after pleading to felony attempted burglary, in connection with an incident in Wilton. 

Ramiz T. Hajratalli, 32, of Saratoga Springs, was convicted Feb. 27 of two felony counts of burglary and two misdemeanor counts criminal mischief, following a near month-long trial. According to Saratoga County District Attorney Karen Heggen, Hajratalli had entered two different Saratoga Springs residences – on Caroline Street and on Jumel Place, respectively – while the residents of those locations were home at night sleeping. He was subsequently charged after Saratoga Springs Police located physical evidence that tied Hajratalli to the burglary.      

Norman E. Rose, III, 39, of Milton, was sentenced Feb. 26 to 1 to 3 years in state prison, after pleading to felony criminal contempt. 

Robert S. Loomis, 31, of Schuylerville, was sentenced Feb. 26 to six months in jail and 10 years of probation, after pleading to felony sexual abuse in the first-degree. 

Savannah L. Myers, 24, of Greenfield Center, pleaded Feb. 23 to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, regarding an incident in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing scheduled April 13. 

POLICE

Torre Austin, 28, of Milton, was charged March 1 with promoting prison contraband, a felony. It is alleged Austin possessed contraband while being an inmate at the Saratoga County Correctional Facility.  He was arraigned and sent back to the facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. 

Michael A Coonradt, age 21, of Granville, Quintan L Smith, age 19, of Ballston Spa, and Dillion C Poirier, age 17, of Porters Corners, were each charged with criminal mischief, and burglary – both felonies, criminal possession of stolen property – a misdemeanor, and various other felonies, in connection with an alleged burglary that took place at a single-family home on Lake Avenue on Sept. 6, 2017. Police said the residents of the home - who had been home in bed when the suspected burglary took place - reported several items missing from inside the home as well as their 2010 Mercedes-Benz missing from the driveway. The vehicle was later found damaged and abandoned on Church Street, police said. Following an investigation, Coonradt, who was arrested Feb. 23, was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash, or $50,000 bond. Smith and Poirier were arrested February 27 and both sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash, or $30,000 bond.

Mona L. Nordstrom, age 49, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 24 with felony assault. She is accused of shooting a person with a BB gun in Milton. The victim, who suffered injuries to their hand, was known to Nordstrom, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department. 

Teah C. Teriele, age 24, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 18 with aggravated unlicensed operation third degree - a misdemeanor. 

Christopher W. McLellan, age 24, Greenfield Center, was charged Feb. 18 with misdemeanor DWI, leaving the scene of an auto accident, unreasonable speed. 

Aaron M. Sparks, age 23, Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 18 with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest. 

Carl G. Vanasse, age 21, of Clarksville, Maryland, was charged Feb. 18 with obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct. 

Kelly A. Portanova, age 29, Troy, was charged Feb. 18 with felony DWI as a second offense, speeding - inappropriate speed, aggravated driving while intoxicated - a felony. 

Amber L. McManus, age 38, Saratoga Springs was charged Feb. 17 with endangering the welfare of a child, unsafe lane change misdemeanor DWI, and aggravated driving while intoxicated - a felony. The felony aggravated DWI is based upon that McManus had her 15-year-old son in the vehicle with her at the time of offense. 

Michael M. Allen, age 45, Schenectady, was charged Feb. 17 with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon – felony. 

Katrina A. Barody, age 21, Fort Edward, was charged Feb. 17 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

Randall S. Morich, age 44, of Naples, Florida, was charged Feb. 16 with aggravated harassment.

Philip K. Betton, age 48, Troy, was charged Feb. 16 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

March 2nd – March 8th, 2018

COURT

Barkim H. Tomer, 23, of Schenectady, pleaded Feb. 21 to criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, regarding an incident in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing scheduled May 2.    

Christopher R. Miranda, 18, of Hudson Falls, pleaded guilty Feb. 21 to manslaughter in the second-degree, and vehicular assault in the first-degree, regarding an incident that occurred in the town of Moreau. Authorities said Miranda was driving while in an intoxicated condition at a speed of 104 miles-per-hour on Bluebird Road on Aug. 31, 2017 when he recklessly caused the death of a 16-year-old passenger. A 14-year-old who was also a passenger in the car was seriously injured in the crash. Miranda “intentionally oversteered the vehicle” so that it would drift across the road, subsequently lost control of the vehicle and ultimately crashed off the roadway, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s office. Sentencing scheduled April 18. 

POLICE

Kathleen M. Callanan, age 56, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 20 with felony grand larceny and petit larceny - a misdemeanor. Brad N Callanan, age 35, Mechanicville, was charged with four felony counts each of: forgery and criminal possession of a forged instrument, and four misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of stolen property. Kathleen Callahan and Brad Callahan are mother, and son, according to the Saratoga Springs Police Department.  Kathleen Callanan is suspected of stealing a purse from a car parked in the shopping plaza on Ballston Avenue. It is alleged Brad Callanan came into possession of some of the stolen purse items, including the checkbook, and issued four fraudulent checks at locations in Saratoga Springs over a two-day period. Kathleen Callanan was sent to county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash, or $2,500 bond. Brad Callanan was sent to county jail on no bail. 

Shane M. Germain, age 27, of Wilton, was charged Feb. 21 as a fugitive from justice. It is alleged Germain fled to Saratoga County from North Carolina to avoid prosecution in Beaufort County, North Carolina where an active warrant listed charges against him of first degree child rape and indecent liberties with a child. Germain was arraigned in the Milton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.

Melanie O. Munoz, age 22, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 15 with aggravated unlicensed operation, fail to signal, equipment (obstructed view front/rear by object), operate motor vehicle by unlicensed driver. 

Desmond M. Bonner, age 38, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 15 with criminal contempt. 

Brad A. Hoffman, age 20, Amsterdam, was charged Feb. 15 with speeding, aggravated unlicensed operation, no/expired inspection certificate, no/expired insurance. 

Joseph P. Maki, age 48, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 14 with aggravated unlicensed operation/under influence- felony, equipment (rear license plate light), felony DWI as a second offense. 

Tracy L. Osornohassan, age 47, Wilton, was charged Feb. 14 with failure to signal a turn, refusing a pre-screen test, misdemeanor DWI.

Gabrielle M. Batista, age 24, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 14 with fail to keep right, misdemeanor DWI, and aggravated driving while intoxicated. 

Emily A. Crosby, age 34, Danby, Vermont, was charged Feb. 13 with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument - a misdemeanor. 

Casie B. Lailer, age 33, Gansevoort, was charged Feb. 13 with petit larceny- misdemeanor, and felony grand larceny. 

Emily S. Morrison, age 31, Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 13 with speeding, aggravated unlicensed operation third degree, misdemeanor DWI, operating unregistered motor vehicle on highway.

Alan T. Teraoka, age 28, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 12 with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding. two counts failure to stop at stop sign,  and failure to signal a turn. 

Joseph J. Valigorsky, age 45, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 11 with misdemeanor DWI, no/expired inspection certificate, aggravated unlicensed/under influence operation of a motor vehicle - felony, unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Michael J. Harmon, age 66, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 10 with menacing, criminal possession of a weapon.

Christopher R. Getman, age 26, Round Lake, was charged Feb. 10 with misdemeanor DWI, unlawful possession of marijuana, unsafe lane change, no/expired inspection certificate, improper lane use. 

Note: On Jan. 26, the Saratoga Springs Police Department released the arrest information regarding Patrick D. Rocco, age 57, of Saratoga Springs. Offense listed: animal at large cruelty and abandonment- 2 counts. This was sent in error, as Rocco was not cited and/or arrested on the day in question.

February 23rd – March 1st, 2018

POLICE

Michele Chabot, age 54, of Scotia, was charged with grand larceny, and Anna E. Riley, age 24, of Schenectady, with petit larceny on Feb. 14, following an investigation in the town of Ballston. It is alleged Chabot and Riley while working as home health aides for an elderly disabled woman in the town of Ballston, stole numerous pieces of jewelry from the residence.

Johnathon R. Arnold, 37, of Wilton, was charged Feb. 13 with falsely reporting an incident, and making a punishable false written statement, following an investigation into a residential burglary complaint. It is alleged Arnold filed a complaint with the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office to indicate that his Maple Avenue home was burglarized, and several items were stolen. A subsequent investigation determined that the reported burglary did not actually occur, and that Arnold had provided police with a false written statement regarding the above incident, according to authorities. 

Adam D. Sipe, 30, of Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 13 with making a terroristic threat – a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child – a misdemeanor, on the suspicion that Sipe had threatened to blow up the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office, according to police.  When officers attempted to place Sipe in custody, he fled in his vehicle, which had his 2-year-old son seated in it. He was apprehended a short distance away without further incident. The child was turned over to a family member, and Sipe held, pending future
court appearances.   

Nicholas L. Carleton, age 36, of Corinth, was charged Feb. 13 with the following felonies: three counts of reckless endangerment in the first-degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the third-degree, the misdemeanors: endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, and driving while intoxicated, as well as several vehicle and traffic law infractions.  It is alleged that Carleton intentionally drove his vehicle into an occupied dwelling several times and was operating the vehicle on a public highway while in an intoxicated condition.  He is also alleged to have physically resisted deputies’ efforts to place him into custody while striking himself to his facial area and slamming his head off the hood of a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle.

Kevin S. Collery, age 32, of Greenwich, was charged Feb. 12 with felony burglary, felony criminal mischief, and resisting arrest – a misdemeanor in connection with an alleged incident that occurred Feb. 10 in Saratoga Springs.  Police said an officer on patrol came upon a couple running on Spring Street near Court Street, who grabbed the officer’s attention and pointed out an individual, believed to be Collery, who had caused damage to a nearby apartment building a few moments earlier.
Police said it was subsequently discovered that Collery committed a burglary to an unoccupied apartment on Spring Street just prior to the initial police contact. While committing the burglary, he also allegedly caused damage to the glass door of the apartment and several items within the residence. Collery was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash, or $2,500 bond.     

Kenneth J. Jiron, age 58, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 9 with failure to signal a turn, operation of a motor vehicle by unlicensed driver, aggravated operation of a motor vehicle. 

Lauren E. Powers, age 21, South Glens Falls, was charged Feb. 9 with misdemeanor DWI, aggravated DWI, and unsafe backing, after being involved in a property damage accident. 

Carolyn M. Kroll, age 50, Schenectady, was charged Feb. 6 with fugitive from justice - a felony. Kroll was wanted out of the District Court of Sandoval County, New Mexico for an outstanding felony charge

Michael J. Scoville, age 32, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 6 with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief, and unlawful possession of marijuana. 

Melissa A. Ciccarelli, age 36, Gansevoort, was charged Feb. 5 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and following motor vehicle too closely, after being involved in a property damage accident.

Clara M. Haley, age 38, Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 4 with assault in the third degree. 

Keith R. Boggan, age 41, Gansevoort, was charged Feb. 4 with misdemeanor DWI, refuse pre-screen test and fail to obey traffic control device. 

Joseph E. Lopresti, age 19, Gansevoort, was charged Feb. 3 with criminal possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and possessing alcohol under 21 years-of-age.

Robert L. Durr, age 48, Saratoga Springs was charged Feb. 3 with criminal possession of marijuana. 

Trevor J. Hammar, age 29, Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 2 with felony burglary. 

Javier A. Dalmasi, age 22, Clifton Park, was charged Feb. 2 with aggravated harassment.

Mason A. Weber, 25, of Stillwater, pleaded Feb. 6 to felony burglary in Malta.

Sean D. Knight, 32, of the Bronx, pleaded Feb. 5 to felony DWAI, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Justin P. Rock, 32, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded Feb. 2 to felony burglary.
Sentencing scheduled April 13. 

Donald P. Gilbert, 22, of Milton, was sentenced Feb. 2 to five years of probation, after pleading to attempted strangulation, a felony. 

 

POLICE

Kendry A. Regales-Peralta, age 21, Porters Corners, was charged Feb. 2 with felony burglary. 

Justin M. Lionarons, age 31, Ballston Spa, was charged Feb. 1 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unreasonable speed, and leaving the scene of an auto accident, after being involved in a property damage accident. 

Bernard P. Byrne, age 69, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 31 with making a terroristic threat- a felony. Byrne allegedly made a threat, while in the Thirsty Owl restaurant on South Broadway, that he would return to the restaurant with a machine gun and shoot everyone inside. Investigating officers located Byrne at a nearby hotel. He was taken into custody without incident and no weapons were discovered, according to police. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $5.000 cash, or $10,000 bond. 

James W. Allen, age 30, Hadley, was charged Jan. 31 with unlawful possession of marijuana, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Marcus N. Sikora, age 20, Saratoga Springs was charged Jan. 31 with criminal trespass.

Scott F. Parillo, age 44, Lake George, was charged Jan. 31 with three counts criminal contempt and two counts stalking. 

Gary P. Mottau, age 58, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 30 with criminal trespass. 

Charles Lwanga, age 44, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 30 with endangering the welfare
of a child. 

Abigail S. Vanderveen, 17, of Ballston Lake, was charged Feb. 6 with assault, and criminal mischief, after allegedly punching and kicking a female teacher at the Shenendehowa High School, the result of which caused physical injury and the breaking of several items in a classroom. Vanderveen was arraigned and released to a third party.  She is scheduled to appear in Clifton Park Town Court at a later, unspecified date.

Kevin J. Kelly, age 37, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 29 with criminal mischief. 

Alyssa J. Vilsaint, age 20, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 28 with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and no/expired inspection certificate. 

Keenan O. Shannon, age 27, Ballston Lake, was charged Jan. 28 with criminal mischief. 

Brendon Sias, age 41, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 28 with misdemeanor DWI, fail to stop at a stop sign, and fail to keep right.

Ralph A. Dee, age 44, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 28 with failure to signal a turn, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Robert C. Walton, age 31, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 26 with criminal possession of a controlled substance – a felony.   

Daniel J. Webel, age 19, Falmouth, was charged Jan. 26 with criminal possession of marijuana.

Steven W. Harris, age 47, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 26 with criminal trespass.

 

The Saratoga Springs Police Department reported they had responded to a complaint on Feb.  11 on Woodlawn Avenue. The caller reported that someone had left a flyer on one of the family’s cars overnight, which had been parked on the street in front of the family’s home.  Responding officers found that the small flyer contained information on the Loyal White Knights of the KKK. Officers subsequently checked around the neighborhood and discovered similar flyers had been left on numerous vehicles in that area. The flyers are very similar to ones posted in the city several years ago. Police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Saratoga Springs Police Department at 518-584-1800.

February 9th – February 15th, 2018

COURT

Jamel D. Gray, 23, of Ballston Spa, was sentenced Jan. 26 to 2 to 4 years state prison, after pleading to felony burglary in Malta.

Juliana S. Dreweck, 41, of Schenectady, was sentenced Jan. 25 to five days in jail and five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI in Saratoga Springs. 

Veronica V. Barkevich, 37, of Broadalbin, was charged Jan. 24 with felony grand larceny, and nine felony counts falsifying business records. She is suspected of stealing $27,516.12 from her former employer, Northeastern Environmental Technologies Corp, located in the Town of Ballston.  Barkevich is also alleged of concealing the crime by altering the financial records of the business. 

Trevor J. Hammar, 29, of Milton, was sentenced Jan. 30 to 2 to 4 years state prison for each charge: two counts felony grand larceny, one count felony burglary. Sentences to run concurrent.

Michael P. Zorn, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Jan. 31 to five years of probation, after pleading to attempted possession of a forged instrument, a felony. 

Nicholas L. Moon, 28, of South Glens Falls, was sentenced Feb. 1 to five days jail and five years of probation, after pleading to felony DWI in Saratoga Springs.    

 

POLICE 

Jerome D. Horton, 29, of Brooklyn, was charged Jan. 27 with grand larceny, and identity theft – both felonies. Horton is accused of obtaining money in the name of another person not known to him, in an amount exceeding $2,000, by cashing a check in the victim’s name. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail, or bond. 

Nicole M. Johnson, age 38, Porters Corners, was charged Jan. 25 with two counts petit larceny.

Christopher Massie, age 28, Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 25 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Angel M. Rogers, age 17, Porters Corners, was charged Jan. 25 with petit larceny.

Johnnie K. Bailey, age 53, Glens Falls, was charged Jan. 25 with criminal trespass.

John J. Santos, age 25, Halfmoon, was charged Jan. 24 with speeding, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Christopher R. Anderson, age 19, Norwell, MA was charged Jan. 23 with misdemeanor DWI, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, criminal possession of controlled substance – a felony, and two misdemeanor counts criminal possession of a forged instrument. 

Augustus A. J. Balsamo, age 34, Saratoga Springs was charged Jan. 22 with misdemeanor criminal trespass. 

Patrick D. Rocco, age 57, Saratoga Springs was cited Jan. 22 with two counts animal cruelty and abandonment.

Katie L. Kelly, age 33, Schenectady, was charged Jan. 21 with unlawful possession of marijuana, two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. 

Kyle R. McClellan, age 28, Vernon, was charged Jan. 21 with speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Stephanie R. Daury, age 25, Amsterdam, was charged Jan. 21 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Jeffrey D. Hulett, 26, of Malta, was charged Jan. 27 with felony criminal contempt, the misdemeanors assault and criminal obstruction of breathing, and with violating an order of protection, following an alleged domestic incident on Jan. 25. Hulett is accused of causing physical injury to a person known to him by punching and kicking her. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail, or bond. 

Omeil N. Selvyn, age 33, Mayfield, was charged Jan. 20 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and fail to keep right.   

Raphael A. Germain, age 28, Saratoga Springs was charged Jan. 20 with stalking, a misdemeanor.

Maria A. Giaramida, age 30, Commack, was charged Jan. 20 with harassment. 

Oscar H. Willard, age 83, Gansevoort, was charged Jan. 19 with petit larceny.

Ben S. Joseph, age 34, Brooklyn, was charged Jan. 19 with menacing and reckless endangerment. 

 

Two dead after Crash in Corinth

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office reported Jan. 31 that single-car motor vehicle crash on Angel Road in the town of Corinth resulted in the deaths of 23-year-old Genessa Marie Coon, of Corinth, and 21-year-old Cody M. Fitzpatrick, of Whitehall. A preliminary investigation by the Collision Reconstruction Unit determined a primary contributing factor in the crash was speed unsafe for the roadway, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Aleah A. Carero, 21, of Greenfield, was sentenced Jan. 19 to six months jail, after pleading to felony burglary. 

Donald J. Koenig III, 47, of Corinth, was sentenced Jan. 19 to 2 to 4 years state prison, after pleading to felony burglary in connection with an incident in Milton.

Brandon Sewall, 23, of Amsterdam, was sentenced Jan. 19 to 90 days jail, after pleading to felony assault in connection with an incident in Saratoga Springs. 

Aaron M. Current, 26, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Jan. 19 to 1.5 to 3 years state prison, after pleading to felony criminal contempt. 

Katelyn M. Dussault, 27, of Ballston Spa, pleaded Jan. 10 to felony burglary, in connection with an incident in Milton. Sentencing scheduled March 16. 

POLICE

David L. Rodriguez, age 56, of Schenectady, was charged Jan. 24 with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first-degree – both felonies, and several traffic infractions, following a traffic stop for allegedly failing to signal a turn on state Route 50 in the town of Wilton. He was also found to have a warrant out for his arrest from the city of Amsterdam for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third-degree. Rodriguez was sent to the Saratoga County Jail without bail to await
further proceedings. 

Wendy L. Cook, age 47, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 20 with felony aggravated DWI and the following misdemeanors: operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, endangering the welfare of a child, criminally using drug paraphernalia, and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Police said following an investigation of a personal injury accident on Geyser Road - involving two vehicles and three injured persons the night of Jan. 20 - a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu had been traveling eastbound on Geyser Road, gone over the center line of the roadway and collided head-on with a 2000 Buick Century traveling westbound. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. 
The driver of the Buick, a 49-year-old woman from Northville, suffered lower leg injuries and was transported to Albany Medical Center. She was released later the same evening, but the full extent of her injuries is not known.
The operator of the Chevy, Wendy Cook, also suffered lower leg injuries. According to police, Cook’s 8-year-old son, who was not seat-belted at the time of the accident, was also traveling with her and suffered head and lower body injuries as a result of the collision. Both Cook and her son were transported to Albany Medical Center and admitted for further care. Their medical status is not known at this time. 
Police said Cook, at the time of the accident, is alleged to have been under the influence of a controlled substance, suspected to be heroin. Cook was charged with what is commonly referred to as “Leandra’s Law”- a felony. She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear at a later date in Saratoga Springs City Court to answer to the charges.

Morgan E. Harris, age 24, of Whitehall, was charged Jan. 20 following a motor vehicle collision on Old Saratoga Road in the Town of Moreau. Charges: felony grand larceny, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, DWAI, using a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock, circumvention of an ignition interlock device, moving from lane unsafely, and imprudent speed.  Harris is alleged to have operated a vehicle, which had been reported stolen, in violation of ignition interlock requirements and while her ability to do so was impaired by alcohol and drugs. She was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond. 

Trevor S. Johnson, 27, of White Plains, was charged Jan. 18 with three counts criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Darrick D. Conners, age 44, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 17 with criminal trespass, and obstructing governmental administration. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Jeremy J. Nicholas, age 24, and Candace A. Board, age 25, both of Saratoga Springs, were each charged Jan. 17 with two felony counts criminal possession of a controlled substance and one felony count criminal possession of marijuana. A search of the Hamilton Street apartment they shared resulted in the seizure of over $5,400 cash, one ounce of powdered cocaine, and 1-½ pounds of marijuana, according to Saratoga Springs Police. Both were arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash, or $30,000 bond.    

Edward J. Brower, age 48, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 10 with felony DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation, two felony counts and one misdemeanor count criminal possession of a controlled substance, following a police stop for a traffic violation.
According to Saratoga Springs Police, Brower was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DWI and operating a motor vehicle while his privilege to do so was revoked in New York State. The charges are felonies based upon Brower’s previous driving record.  He was also found to be in possession of over ten grams of powdered cocaine - which was broken down into numerous smaller packets - and in possession of a small amount of concentrated cannabis. 

Nicholas M. Hall, age 20, Ballston Spa, was charged Jan. 12 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Michael J. Hodson, age 27, Saratoga Springs, was charged Jan. 10 with resisting arrest, criminal trespass, and obstructing governmental administration second – all misdemeanors.

Antonio V. Quesada, age 52, Burnt Hills, was charged Jan. 10 with criminal trespass – a misdemeanor. 

Christopher E. McNamara, age 47, Schaghticoke, was charged Jan. 10 with felony grand larceny and misdemeanor petit larceny.

Phillip C. Little, age 57, of Ballston Lake, was charged Jan. 13 with felony assault, obstructing governmental administration, and menacing – both misdemeanors, in connection with an alleged domestic incident in the town of Ballston. Little is accused of threatening another person with a broken glass, of physically interfering with deputies investigating the complaint, and of causing physical injury to a deputy during the course of the investigation, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy suffered a broken finger.

Shareen Murray, 42, Tyairral C. Murray, 24, Janae C. Shaw, 23, and Namon D. Johnson, 24 – all from Troy, were charged on the suspicion of a larceny that occurred at the Victoria’s Secret at the Wilton Mall on Jan. 8. Shareen Murray was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanor conspiracy and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.  She was also found to be a fugitive from justice from Pennsylvania for a parole violation, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Tyairral Murray was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanor conspiracy and was also found to be a fugitive from justice from New Jersey for a parole violation. Johnson was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanor conspiracy and was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest from Oneida County for dangerous drugs. Shaw was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanor conspiracy and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Alexandra M. Waters, age 28, Amsterdam, was charged Jan. 8 with misdemeanor DWI, failed to stop at stop sign, failed to signal a turn.

Elizabeth P. Navarette, age 67, Malta, was charged Jan. 7 with aggravated unlicensed operation – a misdemeanor, failed to stop at stop sign, failed to signal a turn.

Michael R. Hands, 51, of Greenwich, pleaded on Jan. 5 to two felony counts of criminal sexual act in the third-degree. Hands, a former Catholic priest, admitted he engaged in sexual conduct with a child less than 17 years-of-age last summer in the town of Charlton, according to a statement issued by the Saratoga County District Attorney’s office. Hands was previously convicted in 2002 and 2003 of sexual abuse related charges with victims under the age of 17, according to the state Division of Criminal Justice Services Registry of Sex Offenders. Sentencing scheduled March 2. 

Devon J. Krisanda, 22, of Ballston Lake, was sentenced Jan. 5 to two years in state prison after pleading to attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. 

Kile W. West, 22, of Milton, was sentenced Jan. 5 to two-to-six years in state prison, and one-to-three years in state prison – to run concurrently, after pleading to attempted felony possession of a forged instrument, and felony burglary, respectively. 

David J. Ball, 29, of Schuylerville, was sentenced Jan. 5 to four months in jail after pleading to felony rape in connection with an incident in Mechanicville.

William K. Hutton, 52, of Saratoga Springs, was sentenced Jan. 4 to 60 days in jail and 5 years of probation after pleading to felony DWI, in Ballston Spa.
